What To Expect

Fresh pasta is an Italian tradition that never dies, but you will give a touch more to this goodness, you will give it color.
Join your host and discover the art and fun of fresh egg based pasta, using natural ingredients like spinach, beetroot, cacao and squid ink to color your pasta, ensuring not only a vibrant display but also a healthy and organic meal.
We will go over the right ingredients to have a rustic pastry that will make the pasta ideal for any sauce, and different ways of storing fresh pasta will be explained.

This class will give you the confidence and know-how to make colourful pasta, different pasta shapes. As well as creating a quick sauce to serve with your pasta.

Once all the shaping, cutting and cooking is done, you'll sit down with your teammates and enjoy the fruits of your labors preceded by an appetizer of mixed crostini sprinkled with fresh spices, such as rosemary, basil, chives and thyme, all picked from the Host garden, paired glass of wine — the ideal reward after a job well done!
And last but not least enjoy a homemade dessert.

NOT in Arezzo

This class is NOT in Arezzo. Is a half hour by car. We couldn’t make it because the wrong address was given to us. Very misleading. I asked for a refund and it was refused. Not recommended!

Response from Host, Mar 2024

the address was absolutely correct. you did not check it properly once you have booked. The chef has been waiting for you for 1 hour. Of course we can t issue any refund . regards

Favorite experience in Italy!

Mitchell_J, Feb 2024
Bought this experience as a gift for my parents and they absolutely loved it! It was their favorite thing they did in their month traveling Italy. Maria and Gada were extremely gracious hosts, the food was delicious, their home was so hospitable, and the class was very easily accessible by bus from Arezzo!

Great time with great teacher, Maria Rosaria!

Cheryl_E, Oct 2023
Maria Rosaria was the best teacher! So informative and fun! There was a mix-up with Viator and they told Maria Rosaria there were 2 students when I purchased for 5 people. She took a few minutes and regrouped, wasn't her error but she stepped up and we had a fabulous time! I highly recommend Maria Rosaria!!!

Even we can make pasta!

Maria welcomed us with open arms. She is a patient teacher. She provided excellent instruction. The result was delicious! The ragu that she made to enhance our pasta was delicious. What a great day!

Great experience

Mikaela_L, Sep 2021
Maria was lovely! She welcomed us into her home and showed us step by step how to make tagliatelle and ravioli using all fresh ingredients. We then cooked it in the kitchen too, ready to eat! She also took us on to the roof to take in the beautiful Tuscan hill views before we delved into our meal! We sat down to eat, along with extra dishes she had previously prepared and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and conversation with Maria! Very intimate and very authentic... a true Italian cooking class! Thank you.

Excellent Day Making Pasta

Susan_M, Jun 2019
Great experience what a super family to spend 3 to 4 hours with. Excellent job explaining the process of making the pasta, cooking the pasta and best part eating what we prepared. I for sure left with enough knowledge to try this at home. I would highly recommend this as a must do on your trip to Italy. When we arrive great with a snack to keep us going while we cooked and a lovely red wine to sip on while we worked. One of my top highlight of our trip. Give it 5 stars in my books.

This was a wonderful experience for my husband and I, definitely a great value. Valentina is charming, engaging, has a lovely home and is a fantastic cook and teacher. We spent about 4 hours with her, from start to finish. We began with appetizers and prosecco and ended the evening watching the sun set on her gorgeous patio having biscotti and Vinsanto. In between, we were in her kitchen making broth, tagliatelle, and a Tuscan ragu. It was one of the highlights if not THE highlight of our vacation! When we arrived back to Pittsburgh we recreated the entire meal for our family and they loved it!

Ein schönes Kocherlebnis in toller Atmosphäre

Leon_M, Aug 2023
