The gate slowly opens onto the cypress avenue. Above you will see the splendid Renaissance villa. After about 100 meters, you will see a sign on the left: "Winery Reception". Turn left, and you will arrive at the cellar where your tour will begin with a glass of wine

We had an excellent time visiting the Villa La Ripa winery and doing the All Tuscany tasting! Anita did our tour and tasting and she was extremely informative and had lots of interesting facts both about the Villa itself and the wine making process. Most importantly, all the wines we had were excellent! We ended up purchasing a case and had trouble deciding which ones we liked best, and it was free shipping so we did not have to worry about getting the wine back to the US. For our trip, we were staying in Cortona but it was absolutely worth the trip to check out this winery. Would absolutely come back in the future!

The wine tour was amazing and the estate is beautiful. But that goes without saying, what needs to be said is how hospitable and kind their staff was. Livia truly made us feel at home and although we came with a party of 17 people, she gave each of us a unique and valuable experience.

We booked this for a group of 17 while staying near the town of Arezzo. It was fabulous- our guide was knowledgeable and entertaining and we learned about the production of Tuscan wines while enjoying them with delicious cheese and prosciutto. Highly recommend this experience. A little research needed to get there but just a short bus ride from Arezzo and then an easy walk through gorgeous scenery. Loved it!

Loved the story about the origin of the vineyard and the lessons in tasting wines. Lovely scenery and we even had the possibility to taste some fresh Shiraz grapes!

The Guide was extremely knowledgeable and told us all about the history of the Villa La Ripa. Her knowledge of the ‘journey’ of the grapes and the wine we were tasting was outstanding.
We were with a great group of people and had some great discussions and laughs.
My only criticism is that we paid for the tour of the vineyard which we didn’t get and, neither the Tuscany bread or olive oil made an appearance at the tasting session which was included at time of booking. We did get the cheese.

Claudia was very informative and helpful. Learning about their operation and then getting to try the different wines was so fun.
We would absolutely recommend this tour - just know you’ll likely walk out having purchased some wine & olive oil!

Claudia was amazing. A small tour but intimate setting. Learned so much about the wine process and the history of this winery. Her father turned the winery into something bigger just from a passion and love for wine.

What a fantastic experience! Carmen was patient when it t came to explaining the wine process and the various varietals grown on the estate. We had such a wonderful time we will be returning for the club membership. The rose Sparkling wine is a beautiful work of Art. We are interested in sampling the whites at another time while we are in Italy for a few more weeks.
We did not discuss the whites at our tasting. We would like to consider them for our shipping.
Next year we will be back with almost adult granddaughters and introduce them to wines.

Was wel goede wijn proeverij, goed gedaan door Bernadette.
Maar ik had wat meer buiten verwacht hoe oogst je die druiven en wanneer bv. dat miste wij wel.
