This was an amazing experience with Chef Dandy, Chef Otelia,, Sofia and Nina. They made our fun and loud group feel at ease and at home while teaching us Nonna’s wonderful recipes. We were especially grateful for the special attention to our friend who needed to have gluten free options while making her feel special. What a wonderful night that we will never forget. May God bless this family and their gracious hosting in the future. I would highly recommend them for anyone visiting this lovely area between Cortona and Arezzo.

Great experience with Chef Dandy, his wife, Otilia & their daughter Sophia! The only issue we had was that we thought it was “in” Cortona where we were staying. We found out the morning of the class that it was located 6 miles away. Since we didn’t have a car it was difficult for us to find transportation to & from the Villa. All worked out and we enjoyed the evening very much.
My husband, friends, and I all had a wonderful evening with Chef Dandy, his wife, and daughter. They were all very warm and welcoming. We had a mix of people who cook and don’t cook in our group and we all thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience from the hands-on learning, wine, and overall good time. The best part was we learned how to cook something that we can recreate at home. You won’t be disappointed if you book this.
A wonderful time and unforgettable experience in a beautiful location in a hillside Villa. The view is incredible, the hospitality of the hosts was so inviting. You truly feel a part of their home like you’re preparing a Sunday Supper with the family. The instruction was spot on and the food we prepared ourselves and ate was next level delicious. What a fun experience to enjoy as a couple, with family, friends, or all of the above!
I’m delayed in my review. This cooking class blew us away! Chef Dandy and his wife were patient, funny, and helpful. We had good company with another American family that booked as well. We also enjoyed the best olive oil that they make and bought some! You won’t leave hungry!
We were greeted with wine from the owner’s vineyard then proceeded to make the most delicious meal!! Home made ragu & pasta! With the most delicious tiramisu for dessert!, My husband was dreading this activity yet was the first to say it was a wonderful experience.
Great time learning how to cook an Italian dish and desert. learned how to cck to get the best flavor without adding extra ingredients. Chef Danny is very passionate about his cooking and shares that with you
Wonderful cooking class in a delightful setting. Prepared both a ragu sauce and tiramisu. Hands on experience.
This exceeded our expectations! What a wonderful evening! The instructor was so nice, knowledgeable and fun and the food was delicious!
This was one of our favorite memories from a six-country Grand Tour. Everyone was so fun and welcoming and loved to share their love of cooking and pasta and wine and everything. As we are making things, various little snacks would just show up that were so delicious I didn't want to wait for our main dish! We would love to do it again we had so much fun!
Very nice relaxing experience. Chef Dandy and his wife were very welcoming. The cooking instructions were easy to follow and the meal we created was fantastic. After having the tiramisu that we created (according to the method that was described as accurate and true) I don’t think I will ever be satisfied with restaurant tiramisu again.

I recommend this cooking class! It was a great experience. The hosts work hard to make this meaningful and fun.
This was a great time. Event lasted 5.5 hours. There was a total of 16 people in the class but it was well managed and broken into two smaller groups most of the time. Food prep was very hands on. Wine seemed bottomless. Our hosts were both very personable and knowledgeable about cooking. Their home is on a mountainside with beautiful views and lots of space to relax during down time. They spoke English, Spanish and Italian. Really was a fantastic time.
This was such a fun experience. Chef Dandy and his beautiful family welcomed us into their home with smiles, laughter and wine. The food we made was amazing. We can’t wait to try this on our own back home. Highly recommend!
We had an amazing time with Chef Dandy and his family! We learned how to hand-roll fresh pasta and make a delicious ragu, with tiramisu to top it off. Unlike some of the bigger classes I’ve seen available, this was a private class that never felt rushed - we spent the evening talking with our hosts, testing the chef’s homemade wine & olive oil, and enjoying bruschetta while we cooked and learned some new culinary skills.
This was easily one of our favorite experiences from our trip, highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!
We chose this experience on a Cousin's Trip to Tuscany. Chef Dandy was a fun and informative host. We really enjoyed preparing, and then eating, the fresh pasta, ragu and tiramisu in his home that he shares with his parents. We also enjoyed tasting their wine and olive oil, which was quite good. We were able to arrange with Chef Dandy for transportation to the villa from Cortona, which made it even better, especially since it was his friendly father who did the driving. Since we had been speaking with Chef's father and mother, we asked them to join us for dinner, which made the evening even more enjoyable. I would recommend this experience to anyone who enjoys cooking!
We had an amazing time with Chef Dandy and his family. They were so welcoming and insightful. He was very patient with us and was a great teacher! The views were beautiful and it was nice how slow paced and detailed the class was. They make their own wine and olive oil, and they were both amazing!
Instructor very experienced Making the pasta fun learning experience delicious meal, dessert and wine
Excellent example of traditional cooking techniques that are unhurried and enjoyed with friends old and new. The dinner is delicious, as are the wines and the olives and olive oil all produced on-site. Prepared in a delightful family home taught by a warm and engaging family, the meal that is shared at the end is memorable. We highly recommend this cooking class.
It was wonderful! The chef and his family are welcoming and fun people! We made our first home-made tagliatelle with traditional Tuscan ragu. For desert we made tiramisu! It was the best we ever had. If you are looking for cooking lessons at a traditional Italian home, go for it! We also bought some red wine to take home, which was so good and unique. We will definitely come back if we’re in the area to learn how to make gnocchi :)
Thank you for the wonderful evening. Kind regards, Charlotte & Remy
Amazing cooking class and experience with Dandy and his family! Highly recommend this cooking class to anyone who wants an amazing family experience with these amazing hosts!
Set in the house on top of a hill with a beautiful view, Chef Dandy was an excellent instructor, teaching us how to make Ragu, homemade pasta and tiramisu. It was also fun getting to meet and work with the other people in our group! Would highly recommend!
