The facility was nice and professional and clean. Our chef Glenda was the highlight. She was lovely.
There was a problem however: I booked the cooking class with the understanding that it would be I a villa in the country side. It was not. It was in the town of Cortona in a commercial kitchen. The cost was 240 per person- and on line I found many cooking classes for 90 with cooking class and wine. The meal we made was very simple: a bruschetta and a simple homemade pasta with tomato sauce and pancetta, and tiramisu.
For 240 pp I expected more ( and initially signed up for this class due to the rave reviews about the villa)
Once again- Glenda our chef was lovely.

Overall beautiful experience. Glenda our chef instructor taught us well. We learded how to make tagliatelle with a tomato, bacon, and cream sauce, plus Tirimisu. Enjoying our meal with all the cooks was the highlight!

There was a confusion with our booking and Fredericka accommodated us with our original booking at a cooking class at villa in the country side. Elena was our chef and it was a magical experience for all of us.

Our cooking experience with Chef Elena was phenomenal! She picked us up in Cortona and drove us to her home a short distance away. She had the fresh ingredients sitting out when we arrived, and she walked us through the meal preparation step by step. We used her grandmother’s pasta machine, and we picked the fresh herbs from her garden. Our meal included bruschetta with fresh sausage and burrata, focaccia, hand-made pasta with tomato sauce, and tiramisu. Chef Elena picked a menu that we could duplicate at home and, while she provided directions, we actually did the preparation. All during the process, we enjoyed wine, some from her family’s vineyard. It was a wonderful, educational, and memorable experience!

Cristina was a lovely host and a great teacher! Her home was warm and inviting with an AMAZING view. We made pasta and tiramisu. I made new friends and had the best day. Cristina is the best.

This was probably our favorite event while in Tuscany. We were staying in Cortona, which made this even better for us, but we we would recommend it to anyone with a passion for food, fun and stunning views. We chose the lunch lesson and made our own pasta, cooked the sauce, the main course and the dessert! We ate so much great food in Italy, but there's something special about a meal you cooked yourself.
Christina is amazing! She's a great chef as well as a wonderful person. We cooked in her lovely home and spent the afternoon sitting on the porch, eating the lunch we had made and enjoying each other as well as the view... and some good wine!
We plan to come back and cook a dinner with Christina the next time we are back in Tuscany and would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone. No advanced cooking skills or additional supplies needed. Christina took care of everything and was a wonderful host and teacher!
Thank you for making the last day of our honeymoon one of the most memorable!

The entire class was amazing! Please book this tour!
First, they picked us (6 of us) in Cortona with a large van that fit all of us. So, you don’t have to worry about transportation to get to and from.
It was about a 10-15 drive to the house/kitchen. We were greeted with hospitality and friendship!
We made a dessert, appetizers, and homemade pasta with tomato sauce. The chef made it easy to understand and learn. We sat and ate the meal we prepared . . . It was amazing!

A dream of mine to have a cooking lesson in Tuscany came true. Our family of four were invited to Cristina's home for the lesson. The minute we arrived she made it clear her home was ours. The view from her patio in cortona was the best is ever seen. The group was so fun to work with and the food was amazing. Learned new unique recipes we can't wait to try. Cristina worked so hard to ensure we had a wonderful night and we did! Highly recommend this activity if you, like me, dream of a night of southern cooking

Wow. We were fortunate to have a small group of 3. It was a perfect activity on this rainy day. Elena was personable and an experienced cook who shared her love for cooking with us. The end result was fantastic. We got to eat the fruits of our labor with a glass of wine. Recipes were shared with us and since the weather was horrible Elena even gave us a ride back to our hotel. I hope I’m able to remember the techniques that were shared.

Elena was a fantastic host during our cooking class. Her home is situated in a beautiful area with incredible views across the valley. She gives you a couple of choices of dishes to make, some of which include herbs from her garden outside.

I would give this 20 stars if I could! We had the most amazing time at Elena’s village and cooked an amazing meal. This spot is a hidden gem in Tuscany and the views were unbelievable. Elena was enjoyable, knowledgeable and helped us prepare an amazing meal. If you’re in the Cortona area, Elena’s class is a must.

Elena was such a fun chef to work with - she taught us so many amazing and pretty easy recipes plus some of her tricks of the trade. Everything was so delicious we had to roll ourselves out of the kitchen after!
