We had a fantastic experience with this coffee class in Antigua! Marco was our instructor, and he was excellent—knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and happy to answer every question we had. The class started with a very interesting presentation explaining how coffee is grown, harvested, processed, and ultimately prepared for drinking. Marco did a great job of making the information easy to understand and engaging, even for someone like me who wasn't really a coffee drinker. One of my favorite parts was the hands-on brewing portion. Marco showed us several techniques and tricks that we can easily use at home to make better coffee. We also had the opportunity to taste coffee prepared using several different brewing methods side by side, which really helped us understand how much the brewing method can change the flavor. I actually booked the class mainly for my wife, who loves coffee, and because I wanted to learn how to make better coffee for her at home. I wasn't expecting to become a coffee fan myself—but the coffee was so good that I may actually start drinking it! This was a fun, informative, and very worthwhile experience in Antigua. Whether you're already a serious coffee drinker or simply curious about how great coffee is made, I would highly recommend this class. Marco made the experience especially enjoyable and memorable.

Best ways to learn how to make and appreciate artisanal coffee

Really appreciate that it wasnt cancelled for only me, 1 person, in the workshop. The instructor knows a lot about coffee, and the way of preparing coffee. We have tried brewing two different beans in two different ways. Great experiences. BTW pleaee take note that the workshop is taken place close to the colonial travel agency. There is no pick up service. Better to confirm the location the day before.
