Baudillo and his wife Anna were great hosts. They were very informative about the history of the family farm, the process of growing, harvesting the beans as well as roasting, grinding and brewing. His precise process yielded the best tasting coffee. it was interesting how brewing using different methods with the same beans resulted in a different taste. So pleased with our trip. Pick up was close to where we stayed and riding in the back of the truck was an experience in itself.

Wonderful tour. The coffee was great, the hosts were warm and knowledgeable. The tour operators are the actual owners of the coffee farm and they pick, process and prepare the beans themselves!

I really enjoyed this tour of the coffee farm and tasting. I love to support a small family farm and see the process from the beginning to the end. This is a true family endeavor with everyone involved in the business and the tour. I learned a lot about the different regions of coffee in Guatemala, how it is cultivated, the challenges facing the coffee bean and the families growing it due to climate change and how to taste good coffee. HIGHLY recommend this tour.

Baudilio was so informative! I learned a lot about the process of growing coffee beans, and how they operate the farm. Tasting the same beans made in a couple different ways was fascinating - I never knew how much the brewing process changes the taste!

It is an amazing way to immerse locally and travel Antigua in a meaningful way. We visited an actual coffee farm in the next city, the host is sincere and explains everything about his 2nd generation coffee farm. He is a good host and of course the coffee tastes so much better after learning how all the coffee plants are hand-watered, and all the hard work that goes behind it.

An absolutely fantastic experience with a local coffee grower and roaster! Our first hour was spent on our guide’s farm, where I learned about the coffee growing process and got to pick some coffee beans. The second hour we went to our guide’s home where we sampled a few of the coffee varietals and learned about the roasting and brewing process. Baudilio, our guide, was very warm and friendly. He speaks English well and provides transportation to and from the farm. His wife provided a delicious snack for the experience. I highly recommend this experience - it was a highlight of my trip to Guatemala! Pro tip: they sell coffee that was tasted, so remember to bring cash.

Our guide was excellent and knowledgable. After the tour of the farm we went to his house and we had a tasting. He taught us how different environment effect the taste of the coffee. His wife made us a delicious snack of beans and tortillas. Definitely an awesome tour!!

Excellent tour with Baudilio. His knowledge of the coffee journey from harvesting to tasting is amazing! We did a tour of the farm, and then back to his hour to learn more about coffee processing, roasting and tasting! Baudilio was so friendly and answered all my questions. The tour was so interesting. The coffee tasted so good, with such differences between brewing techniques. Amazing tour and well recommended!
