My friend and I decided to book this tour because we were not familiar with Algeria and did not know anyone who had visited previously. Before we even arrived in Algiers, Oussama and his team were in contact with us to ensure we had a smooth trip. They booked our regional flights, recommended accomodation and additional activities, and answered any questions we had.
Once we arrived in Algiers, every interaction we had with the Fancyellow team was incredibly positive. Everyone was excited to welcome us to Algeria and were eager to help us have the best trip possible. Zaki, Wess, and Imam were all incredible guides, and their expertise was matched by their warm personalities. They were incredibly flexible, adjusting the schedule of the day based on our needs, and allowing us to engage with parts of Algiers that aligned with our interests. Our driver, Abdou, was friendly and kind.
Our day in Constantine, which required a domestic flight within Algieria, was one of the highlights of the trip. Oussama and his team made sure the flight experience was easy to navigate, despite the fact we did not speak French or Arabic. Our driver in Constantine, Najib, was incredibly welcoming and enthusiastic. Our guide Imam gave us a deeply thorough tour of Constantine, despite us only being there for one day. When we spoke to other Algerians about visiting Constantine in addition to Algiers and Cherchell within our four day trip, they were shocked. Yet, not a single moment felt rushed due to the professionalism and preparedness of the Fancyellow team.
It is impossible to overstate the extent to which this team went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. On the day of our departure, we had to check out of the Airbnb four hours before leaving for the airport. Oussama graciously allowed us to store our belongings in the Fancyellow office, allowing us additional time to explore Algiers on our own.
