What are people saying about Hammamet

Star Wars Nerd
The whole excursion was fantastic. I met a lot of really nice people which made it fun. As a Star Wars nerd it was excellent! Definitely do the camel ride. The other rides I’ve done in the past were brief in a paddock of sorts on unhealthy camels. These camels were well taken care of and they took you out into the Sahara for at least a hour.
You have to get up very very early for both days. You LEAVE at 5 AM the second day. My only issue was they offered a pick up in Tunis when I first booked the tour and a week before I was informed that they would not pick me up in Tunis and I had to make my way to Hammamet for a 6 AM pick up on the first day. It took them a long time to get back to me and I ended up losing one night stay in Tunis so I could take a hotel there for pick up. It does say in the title that it’s from there. So if you’re doing this tour, make sure you’re staying in Hammamet.

Amazing Tunisian quad experience
Amazing quad biking experience... we were picked up from our hotel and dropped off afterwards. A good 1.5 hours on the quad on road and off road... gravel, sand and forest tracks with the most amazing views. We saw tunisia in a new way... beautiful countryside and a friendly, helpful guide who watched out to make sure everyone was looked after... would hugely recommend. Great value for money

Good history and great guide
Ahmed was a great guide. He was a bit older so he would explain the history to me And then send me to walk on my own, which was nice because I could move at my own pace. Ahmed was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Once the tour was over he Offered his help for anything I ever need in Tunisia which is really over the top nice. Tour ended up being about 4-5 hours total. I think itinerary said 1 hour at tophet but we really spent 10 minutes and that’s about all you need anyway. I feel like I learned a lot about the history of Carthage and was worth doing the tour as I was a bit bored otherwise here in Tunis. Sunday the Medina is closed, so we skipped that, but that was fine because I am staying right by the Medina so I have been checking it out on my own. If you have an extra day I would recommend this tour you see some cool stuff. Also, Ahmed offered a couple other tours while I am here to take me some other places another day and told me the cost, but when I told him I am okay he was not pushy or didn’t try to sell it to me too hard, but it was very nice of him to offer. I appreciated the guide above all else, Ahmed was a wonderful guy.

Great day trip!
I was given the time for pick up the day before my tour and was picked up promptly from my hotel. The guide Mohammed was very knowledgeable and was keen to share information about the tour and his country. The sites were a must visit while in the area and it was never too rushed.

Adventure tour of south Tunisia
Well organised, adventure tour of south Tunisia. You can enjoy a diversity of landscape, though you have to expect long drives. The highlights for me were the amphitheatre of El Djem and the 4x4 ride through the desert to the Star Wars film set.
You don't have to be super fit but you have to be healthy enough to get up very early on both Day 1 and Day 2.
If you are a solo traveller, you have to pay a supplement of 30 DT at the hotel (not mentioned on the website), but I didn't mind. I am grateful that this company doesn't charge a huge supplement for a solo traveller.
On Day 2, we were supposed to meet at 4.50 am, but it was 5.15 am by the time everyone turned up (despite the morning call we got at 4am!). I felt it was disrespectful to those who were ready by 4.50.
I don't know if this late departure caused a knock-on effect, but we only had 40 minutes in Kairouan, instead of an hour, which was such a shame in my opinion. While most people were shopping, I went to have a walk in the medina and came across the former Ottoman governor's huge house (now a carpet shop). Unfortunately, I only had about 7 minutes to spend as I had to go back to our bus but I could have stayed there for an hour! Overall, it was a fantastic tour, but this is my only gripe.

Fantastic Sights & Service
Our guide Noureddine was extremely knowledgeable & personable. It was like touring with a friend. The tour was full of all the sights, sounds & smells of Tunis & Carthage, so I would highly recommend. Noureddine's history knowledge is second to none. A true gentleman.

Not to be missed tour!
Fabulous tour!! Picked up from a nearby hotel by Bassam, who then picked up our guide Iskandar who was brilliant, very knowledgable and went at our pace which was great. Carthage is just such an amazing place, we learnt so much. Then onto Sidi You Said, the fabulous white and blue houses - sooo pretty. Lunch was great at the Le Grand Vert, very tasty and filling! Then onto Tunis Medina, stopping to look in the Cafe M'rabet cafe, beautiful and finished with the oldest Mosque in the Western Mediterranean. Could not fault this tour - highly recommend!

Great guide, great way to see great sites – *BUT* (read review)
My guide was great, driver was new and uncertain but also very good. The sites are 100% worth visiting when in Tunis. Especially el Jem.
BUT - note that the tour does not expressly include the museum/archeological site in el Jem, which uses the same ticket as the colosseum and is absolutely worth visiting (especially if you're not going to the Bardo – but even if you do). So, before you commit, I would urge you to insist that the museum be included in your itinerary – I had to negotiate for it on the spot as I knew about the museum but didn't realize it wasn't on the itinerary. (We skipped Monestir entirely in exchange.... an exchange that probably would not have been necessary if I had discussed it in advance.)
But otherwise, definitely recommended in every way.

A must for history lovers
We had a fantastic day out visiting Testour, Dougga and Bella Regia. We immensely enjoyed exploring the Roman sites with our guide Faouzi who took us to visit all the key areas. Faouzi was knowledgeable and thorough and we appreciated his calm and unflustered approach throughout the day. We would highly recommend this day trip to all who enjoy visiting historic sites as these are some of the best preserved Roman sites anywhere. We would also like to give a special mention to our driver Rabir who had to travel over 200km there and back which he did swiftly and safely.
