Be prepared for a long ride without any cellular service. So have music or some sort of audio pre downloaded for when you make the return trip. It is not a loop, you drive all the way there from Banff to Jasper and then have to turn around and drive it back. Gorgeous ride.

The info was interesting but the jokes were a little cringy and the narrator's delivery was awkward at times. The repetition of the choices for trivia questions was a little annoying.

It would not work. You switched me over to a 3rd party and I had no code to download it. Would not have worked anyway since there is no phone service on the parkway. I’d like my money back.

Sorry to hear you had issues. Every experience on VIATOR or TripAdvisor is a 'third party' as they are an online travel agency, not a tour provider. We provide detailed instructions, which include the requirement to download our app prior to heading out on the Icefields Parkway. We've had over 10,000 people complete the tour, so we can assure you it would have worked just fine had you followed the instructions (or called us for help).

It probably took us a half an hour to figure out how to get the audio to work with my phone in my car. Instructions to do that would’ve been nice. We missed the first four stops. Other than that, I think it was a nice commentary. It was a fantastic and beautiful drive.

Not our favorite.
We had other drive along guides that we preferred much more than this one. The jokes and games would have probably been very fun if you had kids in the car, but 2 sixty year olds were getting a little frustrated with it

We enjoyed the audio driving tour on the Icefields - there were places we definitely would have missed if we had not been listening to the tour, we liked the recommended places to view, we liked the ability to let the tour go automatically or be able to sneak ahead and listen or to have it be repeated.
We recommended the audio tour to several people along our trip. So glad we gave it a try. It was so worth it.
NOTE: Using in a rental car we had to adjust to the car settings to make sure we could hear the tour.

We downloaded the app before we left to drive the highway. Had some trouble getting it to play in the car but finally figured it out. If you like a lot of history then you would probably enjoy it. I did like that it would talk about what was coming up and the was nice because it was not always identified on the highway!

The gps was spot on. The only issue was audio. Whenever we didn’t have a signal, audio functionality stopped until signal was available.

Mostly loved the tour with some minor quibbles. Enjoyed the history and and overview of the sights. Trivia was fine, but took too much time: skip either reading questions twice or the “thinking music “. Would have loved more geological facts

The guide proved great advise on effective use of our time by providing advice on where we realy must stop. The geo taging was really good and worked well. Instructions could be a bit better and indicated that a second app had to be downloaded after the purchase app was downloaded.

Frustration: we couldn’t navigate the app at all during our drive due to no phone signal. It was recommended to download the tour in advance but we couldn’t figure out how to do this. Very Difficult to navigate from the map to specific sites and back angain. App never played through the car system & wouldn’t work at all during Icefields parkway drive. Very disappointing.

I was unable to download the audio due to a poor connection. Should have done this in advance. Also, Viator instructions and questions were not relevant to the audio tour.
