A fun and exciting ride. You can tell that Jered, the owner and captain loves his work. Both Jared and his first mate went over and beyond. This hovercraft can go places that others can't. If travels over rapids and lands with ease. We had the opportunity to see bald eagles and found moose and bear tracks.

We went out on the water for a tour with our teens and 80 year old parents and had an amazing time. Jarod was an incredible guide making the tour fun, informative and engaging. He shared a lot of useful information about the area and its history and gladly answered all our questions. He let the kids pan gold at one of the stops and pointed out moose and bear tracks. And, he helpfully provided rides to/from the town to the boat launch (which was a huge help with our parents) and made sure we were on time to catch the shuttle back to our hotel. If you are looking for a fun way to explore and learn more about the area, this is a must do activity and is great for all ages.

Since this experience did not happen, I doubt if I would recommend this trip. We did not go because the engine was down and the part had not arrived.

The hovercraft is very cool, can navigate water and land. Jerrid (owner) was a great host, very knowledgeable and gracious. Beautiful scenic river cruise looking for wildlife. Saw an eagles nest high in trees including nest resident and moose tracks along river. The scenery along with the fun of the hovercraft was wonderful. Highly recommend!

One of the most excellent tours I've ever been on. These guys are super thoughtful and will take care of you the moment you make contact with them. They give you lots of options based on your desires. Including wildlife viewing (moose bear, eagles and everything else that pops up)... Gold panning at the sand bars just down river from a large deposit of gold... plus many other options as well.
And don't forget the thrill of riding in the unique and exciting hovercraft! Full viewing, comfortable seats, plenty of legroom and a first mate that would give you the shirt off his back to meet your needs.
As a local Alaskan, I've done most every tour available, This one is a must!
