Great trip with our driver Nicholas who shared some great history of the region. A relaxing ride and a fun day exploring the region. Loved all the stops definitely would recommend to anyone who is visiting this area.

Information packed tour

This is a greatest hits tour of wonderful villages scattered in the Luberon, close enough to get to from each other to see a wide variety of places. The guide was fantastic, well informed discussions of the history, agriculture, architecture, art geography of the region. Although connected by region, the towns were different enough from each other to provide a unique experience at each one. The stops were all very well chosen with many having more than one option of activity or tour focus, which made it feel very individualized. The van was large, more like a bus, but very comfortable. I cannot give enough compliments toour guide who gave great suggestions for maximizing the effectiveness of each stop. This was quite a memorable day.

The agenda was good. Traffic caused Nicolas to be 1.25 hrs late. We booked English tour with max of 8. There were 11 passengers and one couple only spoke Canadian French. When we arrived Goedes, Nicolas explained the countryside in French first and all the English speaking people went back to the bus because they were so long. He also parked pretty far from the villages 3 people had difficulty walking.. he could have dropped us closer on the way in, so that we only had to walk one way.

Dear Laura, we are sorry there were some extra unforeseen circumstances on that day, mainly the enormous traffic jam at the starting on the tour. In these rare circumstance we still respect the itinerary and simply finish the tour later. Nicolas told you during the day that travel companies are not allowed to drop tourists in the centre of the Luberon villages (especially in Gordes). All driver/guides must respect the law or will be punished by the police. Please understand that you cannot insist in trying to convince him to break the law, as again there can be consequences. Also please respect that sometimes clients speak different languages, if some people need to wait a few minutes for the translation, they simply wait. This tour is maxed to 16 people (sometimes 8, depending on the vehicle). There is absolutely no difference in the quality of the service if you are 8 or 11. We hope you enjoyed the day, some times when travelling we all need to be a bit flexible. Kind regards,

Rach village we went to was unique. I felt I got a full experience of the countryside. Trop was not rushed. Enjoyed pur guide. He added interesting vignettes and personal stories that enhanced the tour.

Great to visit four villages in the Luberon area. Lots to see in each place but maybe not quite enough time to have a decent look before being whisked off to the next one. The Lavender museum visit was a nice surprise

The guide was 30 minutes late. He drove around Aix twice and was lost before we started our already late tour. While Clem was a nice guy he had little knowledge of the cities and their history.There were points of interest we found out from a quick google search after the tour that we would have appreciated knowing when we were on the tour. He did not have a good sense of the history of the places we visited.

The driver/guide was a very good driver first of all, I felt very comfortable. I really enjoyed all areas we visited, particularly The Roussillon. The guide was pleasant, accommodating and because it was a small group, it felt that we went to many places without the bother to do the driving. Really pleasant way to cover a lot of ground, visit that beautiful Loubaron area in an effortless manner. We could never have visited it all on her on. I really enjoyed that day tour and I would recommend to my friends to see the beautiful area near Aix en Provence.

Paul, unser Tour Guide war sehr gut informiert und hatte nicht nur Fakten sondern auch unterhaltsame Anekdoten parat. Er sehr freundlich und stets darum bemüht auf unsere Bedürfnisse einzugehen. So hat er uns zum Beispiel zusätzlich noch nach Sénanque gefahren, obwohl es nicht Teil des Programms war. Mit ihm als Fahrer fühlt man sich sicher. Wenn wir wieder da sind, werden wir mit Sicherheit eine seiner anderen Touren buchen.
