What are people saying about Aix-en-Provence

Spotting a good lavender...
Spotting a good lavender field is not an easy task. The fields get harvested and the landscape changes drastically over a night.
Our tour guide ensured that we got the best experience. He drove to remote locations and we had the shots similar to few photos on available on Google. That was dedication beyond the expectations.
My personal experience on the lavender tour is to have them late in the day when the sunlight turns orange. And note that much of the pics on google are far from the true vision I think. Camera does the tric that the real eyes can't .

The best!
It was such a great way to see Aix-en-Provence. We had the best guide. He gave us so many recommendations for the day and he was so knowledgeable. It was just the 2 of us and we had the best time. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to see Aix and try some good food!

Touring with Bruno
Bruno is an excellent tour guide! He was on time, with a smile, and gracious personality...he changed our tour midstream to accommodate a beautiful winery. The places we toured were beautiful. He offered to take pics of our families at each place, gave us clear instructions on meeting back after quick tours on our own...provided water, charging cords and most importantly air conditioning!
Bruno the Host with the Most!
Cheers!

So glad I happened to be in Aix in late June
Overall this was a well spent day and we were glad to have done it.
Positives:
[] The fields were absolutely amazing and we enjoyed the stop at the lavender producer and in the small town of Valensole.
[] Our tour guide Clement was easygoing and kind and we felt like he really knew where the best fields were. He would say things like, "This one is nice, but there is one with more rolling hills further down the road."
Negatives:
[] It would have been nice to know in advance that we would be stopping at a boulangerie on the way out of town as we had gotten up early to get something already prior to arriving for the tour.
[] Just my opinion - Waters should be provided as a basic staple. We are used to multi-hour tours including water and missed in the listing that it was not included. And I think it was 96 on the day of our tour.

Wonderful day in Luberon
Fantastic tour to visit the mountain villages less than an hour from Aix. Our tour had 6 plus the guide and it was very comfortable modern transportation. Corrine, our guide, was very knowledgeable and enjoyable to spend the day with. We visited 3 distinct villages and had roughly an hour of free time at each which was enough. This is an amazing tour. Glad we did the half-day 6 hour tour as I feel it was enough.
If you haven't already called motion sickness, there are some winding roads in the mountains so consider having medication, but the road weren't too bad. Must do excursion!

Exceptional experience
Fabienne was exceptional in touring us on a walking tour in Aix-en-Provence. Her educational explanations of the history was so well explained and use of visual pictures as well. The combination with local food selections was delightful. She is so pleasant to be with and we felt like we knew her for years. Don’t hesitate to book with her.

Amazing tour and an amazing guide!
Was one of the best excursions I have had. Not only did we get to see a lot, I learned about culture, wine, and scenery. Our tour guide Celestine was truly such a wonderful person and was relatable and knowledgeable about the entirety of our tour. The wineries we visited were top notch with one being more modern and the other being a generational winery that was beautiful. After this, the Luberon section was tastefully done and didn’t feel too long or too short. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to optimize their time in France and learn and experience as much as possible. Additionally, one last shout out to Celestine, you truly were such a delight!

Great half day trip!
This was a lovely half day tour. Simple but nice. We had Marian for our tour guide and she was as lovely. It’s about an hour to Cassis from Aix with one stop that gives you stunning views from a cliff overlooking this little coastal town. When you get to Cassis you can get tix for a really beautiful boat ride in and around the nearby islands (that’s what we did) or just eat and shop in town. Very chill and relaxed.

Highlight of Aix
This is an absolute must do when visiting Aix! My wife and I had an amazing time. The ride is doable at any skill level. It’s a wonderful way to see parts of Aix you otherwise wouldn’t. You get to see unreal countryside that inspired Cezanne’s paintings. This tour is cannot be missed!

Luberon medieval villages
The little medieval villages of the Luberon district are really worth a day tour. At this time of the year however (late November) they are a bit like ghost towns as most of the shops are closed particularly at Gourds as it is not tourist season and inhabitants tend to leave. But without a lot of tourists it is easier to admire the architecture and landscape. Our guide Remy was great. My only complaint is that we were in a car with 7 of us and as Australians we are used to fresh air and tend to get claustrophobic and uncomfortable in the closed areas with the same hot air circulating. I am an asthmatic and had to ask to move from the back to the front of the car as I was having trouble breathing. I was pleased to get out of the car at the end. We never understand in Europe and America why houses are so closed up and even in our accommodation travelling through Europe when it is 0 degrees outside we need at least a gap in the window to let some fresh air in and the stale air out otherwise we tend to get sick.

On my bucket list!
Riding in a sidecar was on my bucket list! This was an absolute blast and Eric & George were very informative, professional and safe. We would have gone on another tour with them if we’d had time as it was such an enjoyable way to see the countryside! The winery was a nice stop!
