Roger gave us interesting facts about Adelaide and the Barossa region. There was a good variety of wine tastings, in which we found the wines to lack the intensity of flavour. Very enjoyable day though.

Excellent tour, good variety. Peter our driver had a great dry sense of humour, was thoughtful & attentive & was a considerate driver. He told interesting stories of the area & was helpful. Each place we visited we had sufficient time & did not feel rushed or "herded". Our lunch was excellent, had variety, was presented well & was tasty.
Only thing I could criticise was it needs a step/stool to get in & out the bus. I have knee & hip problems & it was awkward & painful. One elderly lady, short in stature, actually threw herself on the bus then literally crawled up the stairs - in white pants - because it was too high for her to raise her legs high enough to get on. Another elderly gentleman who looked to have had a stroke or major accident, also had problems.

Tour with a small group and a great tour guide and interesting stops.
Thanks Roger aka Fred Firestone :)

Lovely host but wine tour was poor. Went to only 2 tastings in 8 hour trip. Needs at least 2 further Cellsr doors. We are there to taste the barossa not just see it. Last stop was chocolate factory in which wines were not even local so replace this with cellar door.

We had a fabulous time on our tour of the Barossa Valley.
The two course meal was beautiful, we were made very welcome in all the places we visited.
And not forgetting our driver and host for the day, what a lovely guy, so knowledgeable and friendly, you made our day special Phil !!!
Thank you

The tour was so well organised. Every wine tasting, lunch etc was included in the tour cost and I did not have to spend a single penny from my pocket. Loved their picks of the wine tasting and the lunch at lambert estate. It was at a leisurely place while still covering a lot of the Barossa Valley. Would love to do another tour with them!

Great day, saw plenty but not rushed so could really enjoy each place visited and hosts very welcoming

We booked this trip and paid extra as we saw that this tour including the Maggie Beer Farm. To our great disappointment - it was not included. This was not the fault of the tour company, but Viator, as they have not updated their website - even when contacted on numerous occasions by different people/organisations.

Nice selection of wineries and outstanding food for lunch. Guide was knowledgeable and made the experience special.

Shame we weren’t told that the tour no longer visits Maggie Beers until after our first stop. Our driver said the contract ran out a month ago, so would have been nice to know that in advance so that we could possibly make other arrangements. Instead, we were dropped off at a little collection of companies and given only 45 minutes to explore all 5 of them, all of which were at our own extra expense. Also, the chocolate tasting stop was a little disappointing - the wines were all quite average and the chocolates were just simple white/milk/dark squares. I was expecting something really interesting and exciting about the specific pairings of certain chocolates with certain wines. Our driver for the day was informative and amusing although he seemed to have a lot to complain about. The first stop at Pindarie Estate was great, the food at lunch was delicious, and the day was overall enjoyable, but definitely was expecting a little more.

A fabulous day. Lots to see and taste without feeling rushed. A good mix of Barossa wine, food and chocolate. Our driver Athol was a hoot!

A great fun day out, the driver was excellent, great wines & locations!
It was very well organised, professional and value for money!
Helen_A, May 2022
Lunch was very good. Wineries and chocolate factory good. I only maked my score down because trip was advertised as a small bus and a maximum of 20 people. We had a full size bus and I counted atleast 30 people - not what was expected. Not a real problem but tends to slow trip down. I understand itineries can change but this one was completely different.
hannelore_r, Apr 2022
The winery
And a very nice lunch at Lamberts
But disappointed not to have seen
Maggie Beers place as I booked this specially for that
Sarah_K, Apr 2022
Great driver, tours, wine and food. Overall a great day. Only thing that was disappointing was no wine tasting included at Maggie Beer's farm, which wasn't clear until we arrived. Out driver Mark was excellent.
borispaleka, Apr 2022
Coach guide Athol very informative commentary during the trip providing interesting insight with a sense of humour into the Barossa Valley and Adelaide area.
alisonwallace, Mar 2022
Excellent guides and wonderful day in the Barossa sampling wines and food, just the right pace, couldn't really fault anything. Always difficult travelling solo but it was fine and great guide
Iqra_K, Feb 2022
Our tour guide Roger went above and beyond to make sure we all had a fantastic and entertaining trip. The wineries were well selected and food at the lunch stop was amazing! Fantastic day and easy way to see the Barossa without worrying about the organising...
David_G, Dec 2021
Driver was very informative but the trip lacked what we went for which was wine tasting spent more time on the bus than visiting wineries not worth $170 per person
Elizabeth_B, Oct 2019
We had a great day, loved the spots we stopped at such a beautiful day. Pub choice for lunch was good, food and entertainment. Comfortable trip we will recommend to our friends.
Gerald N, Feb 2018
We were 18 on tour not exactly a small-group tour as we were starting off people who were at rear of bus came forward the noise on the bus was awful the driver said that called an engine not an apology for the noise the bus was past its best and should be scrapped
The trip itself was brilliant and the driver very knowledgeable but please invest in modern transport and smaller groups
Friedemann K, Jan 2018
Nice Tour with fantastic views, winery have been nice - excellent lunch
Sandra H, Aug 2017
Absolutely amazing day in the Barossa Valley. Great Guide and we had a beautiful lunch . Loved the visit to Wolf Blass and the beautiful boutique wineries. Enjoyed visiting Maggie Beer's farm shop.
Anil C, Mar 2017
Was ok. The wineries were all lovely, felt slightly rushed in some parts and often pointlessly long in other wineries. The group size was much bigger than I was expecting compared to other available tours and we were in a very large coach. For me it was just OK.
