Itinerary
Start your tour with convenient pickup at your Addis Ababa hotel and then travel to your first destination, Entoto Hill, where the city began. You'll also visit the Holy Trinity Cathedral Church, which is notable for its distinct architecture and its onsite museum. Walk around the church with your guide, learning about its construction, history, and religious significance.
Move on to the National Museum, home to "Lucy", the partial skeleton of a specimen of Australopithecus afarensis, among other precious national treasures.
Refuel with a traditional Ethiopian lunch the Taitu Hotel, the oldest in the country (own expense).
Following your meal, head for the St. George Cathedral and Museum, located in the very center of Addis Ababa and notable for its octagonal shape and distinct architecture. Continue to Haile Selassie's former palace, the location of the Ethnological Museum, then view the campus of Addis Ababa University.
To round out the tour, you'll drive through Arat Kilo, Meskel Square, and Piassa, before heading back to your hotel for drop-off.

This felt more like a friend taking you around their city than an organised tour. Brilliant insight into the city and country. And the lunch was perfect too!

We had the pleasure of takeing this tour with Seya as our guide. This young man was EXTREMELY knowledgeable about Ethiopian history and culture. He was very detailed in delivering this information. I have been on several tours on several countries previously but I must say the information/knowledge that I learend from my tours with Seya was unexplainable. If you want to experience and learn about Ethiopia this is the company to book with and if you want to be enlighented requesting Seya as your guide is a must
