What can I say? The tour was beyond amazing, and Alex was an incredible source of knowledge. He is the most knowledgeable tour guide I have ever been on a tour with. He was engaging, friendly, and just a joy to be an around. Talk about a man that knows his country and its wealth of information. I have learnt so much and really enjoyed every bit of the tour. All the sites we visited were incredible and it was the best way to see and get an orientation about Addis. Every runs on time and it was an all day affair, and to be fair, you didnt even notice the time, thats wonderful Alex was. Many thanks to this company, and Alex. I would definitely recommend you book here, you won't be disappointed.

What an amazing day we had. We felt safe and comfortable and knew we were in good hands with our driver and tour guide. We did way more that we ever expected. I had a great day seeing Addis Ababa with guide Desale and driver Asede! I really wanted to see Lucy at the National Museum (and the display there is outstanding!) but for the rest of the day, I let them set the itinerary, and they showed me all of the highlights. Desale is very knowledgeable, speaks excellent English, and shared much information about Ethiopian culture. Driver Asede got us through Addis safely... an experience in itself. To top it all off, my iPhone (and camera) was running out of power, so owner Mulugeta met us at a coffee shop with a charger and cord for me to use! For that, 6 Stars!

Awesome time - highly recommended. I had only 4 hours and the guide did a great job of working with my limitations. Loved the lunch spot and the women pottery workshop. Coffee stop was ok, but underwhelming.

Excellent tour of Addis Ababa today with Alex. I chose this tour because it had the most comprehensive itinerary. There was so much to see and having a separate driver removed the hassle of searching for parking at each location.
Many of the sights do not have a lot of information in English so Alex’s narration was great. It was clear he knows his subjects because other tour guides stopped us to say Alex had taught them.
Highly recommend this tour if you are visiting Addis Ababa.

I booked this layover tour in Addis and had an amazing time! Alex met us in the hotel lobby and immediately checked our timing. He drove us up Mt Entoto for the views and took us into the hilltop church museum. We saw beautiful Ethiopian treasures, the old king and queen’s house, and even playful monkeys in the trees.
On the way down we stopped for photos, passed the US embassy (Alex noted how respectfully it is regarded), then headed to the National Museum to see Lucy. Despite the crowds of schoolkids, Alex explained the flag colors, the country’s geography, and about Lucy and other fossils. A few students asked for hugs and high-fives, which was a fun surprise.
Time was tight so Alex reshuffled our stops to fit in lunch and a coffee ceremony. He ran off to get cash so I could pay. Everything (injera, honey wine, and the coffee ceremony with a traditional shawl for my wife) came to just 2,200 birr (about $20). The meal was delicious and the ceremony was unforgettable, and it felt very special to share the meal with Alex and Adis.
Traffic back to the hotel was heavy but Alex and Adis communicated with the hotel and had our shuttle waiting curbside. We grabbed our bags and made our flight with minutes to spare. Their local knowledge, flexibility and genuine care made this stressful layover one of the best parts of our trip. Communication before, during, and after the tour was absolutely phenomenal. Five stars all day every day, and we can’t wait to go back to see them again!!

Acham picked us up on time and walked us through a guided tour of St. George church and the Ethiopian National Museum. Lunch at Yedur coffee was delicious and the coffee ceremony was fantastic. The day finished with a tour of the markato.

This tour was a great experience. Communication was great. Pickup was on time. Guide was knowledgeable and understanding. He went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable. He facilitated a jewelry shop stop to have my chain repaired. He took videos and pictures for me. Overall, very nice experience. I would recommend Alex and Addis (Guide and Driver) anytime

I had an absolutely amazing time with Mulu as a tour guide. Once I booked the tour (which was days before), he immediately reached out to communicate the experience and expectations of the tour - and the excellent communication continued throughout the tour. He was on time, had expert knowledge of Ethiopia and my favourite added touch to the experience, was when we went to the restaurant and had the delight in savouring in honey wine (which I'd never had before) and Mulu and Daniel (the restaurant owner) were attentive enough to offer a honey wine tour inside the restaurant showcasing the whole process due to my interest. What a beautifully curated experience, showcasing what Addis and Ethiopia has to proudly offer!
I would 100% recommend Mulu.
