Kilimanjaro. Visiting a coffee plantation, you'll learn everything there is to know about how Arabica coffee is cultivated, harvested, and processed. Together, we will pound the coffee beans to remove them from their shells, roast them, grind them, and finally enjoy a cup of homemade coffee! After this, we will take a 45-minute hike to Materuni Waterfall. Note that the terrain can be quite muddy, so wear appropriate shoes. Enjoy the beauty of Mt. Kilimanjaro's largest waterfall (90m tall) and have the option to take a refreshing swim. After we will return Materuni village and for a locally prepared Chagga lunch.

Hop aboard the Moshi sunset bus in the evening to get to a gorgeous spot where you’ll be able to watch the sun setting over Mt. Kilimanjaro. You can climb on top of the bus once it's parked, then check out the setting sun and rising moon while sipping local beer or soft drinks, singing, drumming, dancing, and having a beautiful, chilled, evening.

Maasai Village Once we arrive in the village, please remember to be a respectful guest and don‘t take pictures of the villagers without asking. Your English-speaking guide will assist you and translate into Kimaasai, as the Maasai themselves do not speak any other languages. Relax after your busy week in the beautiful turquoise water of the Kikuletwa Hot Springs (they are not really that hot but more refreshing)! When we arrive at the hot springs after about 1 - 1.5hrs travel enjoy the tranquility of the water in a quiet space or opt for the rope swing for a bit of excitement! Entry ticket and lunch will be provided. Tubes are available for hire. The hot springs are home to many Doctor fish who will clean your dead skin if you sit still! When you are ready we will return back to Moshi and drop you off at your desired location. Note: the amenities (including change rooms and toilets) at the hot springs are very basic so we would encourage guests to use the bathroom before leaving and wearing their swimming attire to start the tour.
