Amazing tour! Yonas is amazing! Highly recommend this tour, he is responsable and knows a lot about his country. One think that I really like is that we spoke a bit and than he personalized the tour for me, I really appreciate. I tried different tours in Ethiopia but this one was definitely the best. I like it because he know all the best spots and I like to take pictures. Also I mentioned him that I was interested in rastafari and he took me to see the Lion of Judah and told me a lot about Haile Selassie and Rastafari culture.

Enjoyed an amazing day touring around Addis Ababa, visiting the beautiful riverside park land redevelopment, Mount Entoto - with incredible views overlooking the city, the market - the largest open-air market in Africa and a textile market.
Our guide Adisu was very knowledgeable about Addis and Ethiopian customs and freely shared his information with us. He picked me up in a clean, comfortable car with air conditioning that made the trip enjoyable. He also customized the itinerary based on our interests. Enjoyed a delicious Ethiopian lunch at Addis Ababa restaurant, complete with coffee ceremony. Also tried some Tej (honey wine). Visited the oldest coffee shop in Addis, including an authentic, vintage Italian coffee bean roaster.
Overall, it was an excellent day and this is a highly recommended tour!

Unforgettable Addis Ababa Experience – Highly Recommended!
I had an amazing experience visiting Mount Entoto, the historic Menelik Palace Museum, and Shiro Meda. Yonas was an outstanding guide and truly made this tour special. As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe, comfortable, and well cared for throughout the entire day.
Yonas helped me with shopping at Shiro Meda, explained everything patiently, and made sure I got authentic items at fair prices. He was super friendly, very flexible, and customized the tour exactly to my interests everything went just as I wanted. His knowledge of history, culture, and the city made the experience even more enjoyable.
The views from Mount Entoto were stunning, the history at Menelik’s Palace was fascinating, and Addis Ababa itself is such a beautiful and vibrant city. I truly enjoyed every moment of my tour and couldn’t have asked for a better guide.

We had an unexpected half day layover, and made a last minute reservation. Our great guide, Yonas, was at our hotel just 45 minutes later. His English is great, and he fully customized the tour for us. We were so glad he took us to the fascinating Mercado, a massive, bustling market. Great experience!

I can only echo what all other reviewers already have mentioned: Yonas is a wonderful host who introduces you with great enthusiasm to Ethiopian hospitality. He certainly paid attention in history classes and is eager to sharing his knowledge of Ethiopia's rich heritage. The tour helps you to truly immerse the local culture. Although we were originally going to visit Mt Entoto, Yonas suggested visiting 'Granny Lucy' at the National Museum first, in the hope that the weather would clear up. A local guide introduced us to the cradle of the world as humanity started in Ethiopia, after which we climbed the mountain in his neat and clean car. After a lovely walk past churches and the palace with its fantastic views, we descended to the local market, where Yonas showed us a wealth of traditional cloth and even helped me negotiate with the locals to get a decent price. This was followed by a culinary adventure at the oldest restaurant in East Africa, where he helped to sample the most delicious dishes and drinks. After visiting a few more monuments in old town, having a coffee, and getting suggestions for the next day, Yonas really gave you a good impression of life and culture in Ethiopia. I would definitely recommend this tour with Yonas, and I would definitely contact him again if I'm in the area!

It was a fun trip full of useful information it covers all the main monument and places to visit in the city. Our guide, Younis, did not skimp on information about the city of Addis Ababa, which mean the new flower . We also thank him for his cooperation in providing notes about the country in general for other tourist trips if we wished, and with his help we avoided the crowds in some places.

The highlight of my trip to Ethiopia was taking the Addis Ababa tour with Yonas, my tour guide. First of all, Yonas confirmed my tour through WhatsApp, while I was still at home in the United States. He said, “Dear Lisa, I am Yonas and I will be your tour guide in Addis Ababa. Here are the highlights of your tour and if there are places in particular you would like to see, no problem!” I was so impressed with this level of customer service. In addition, Yonas was on time. He was also very conscientious of my return time back to the airport. Yonas provided the highlights and history of this amazing country, including best places to shop and dining at the amazing Addis Ababa Restaurant, where the food was so good and the coffee ceremony equally impressive ! I really enjoyed my day tour with Adisu and our driver. He took me all around the city to show me the sites. He really enjoyed sharing about his country and I loved seeing his passion. I was nervous booking a solo tour in a new country, but I felt very safe the whole time. I booked my tour the day of because I sadly missed my flight connection and had to stay overnight in Ethiopia, so it was really great Viator had tours available for me to book.

We started with a visit at the museum near Menelik II palace then we seen the house before going to Entoto park. Sadly it was a cloudy day of rainy season.
Whatever, it was interesting, full of details about the living of a figure of ethiopian history.
The guide was pleasant, sharing his knowledge till the delicious lunch we had at a pretty simple restaurant. I would recommend.
