I was in Addis for work and only had one free morning to explore the city — I’m so glad I booked a tour with Addis Ethiopia Tours. My guide, Luel, was a pleasure to spend time with: punctual, deeply knowledgeable about Ethiopia’s rich history, and genuinely engaging. Visiting the Archaeological Museum with him made me wish I had more time to see the rest of the country. The trip was good, not excellent as our guide wasn't too informative, but all together a good first impression of Addis!
Bit unfortunate that we weren't advised of the closed museums. As the museum entrances are also only around 10 BIRR pP. I don't quite know how the rate adds up, but besides that all good.

My guide Addisu met me at my hotel a few minutes early, which I liked. We drove around the city sharing stories, then visiting the many sites. I really enjoyed my guide. He was very knowledgeable and open to suggestions as we modified the tour slightly so that I could visit the university and the museum. We stopped for a coffee and enjoyed the city life before he took me back to my hotel. A great day. Learned quite a bit about the culture and history of the country.
