Please book this tour. The hospitality I have been shown in Ethiopia so far cannot be put into words. This isn’t just a cooking class - it is an opportunity to experience authentic Ethiopia with an amazing family. Even more than the cooking class (which was great by the way), the opportunity to spend time with this family cannot be missed! They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable at all times. If you are wavering on if you should book this or not and reading the reviews, JUST DO IT! I guarantee that you will not be disappointed! It’s also excellent for solo travelers. I went alone and I felt like I was part of the family.

This was a wonderful tour! Authentic and warm welcome with a true family feel. John, sister Helen and mama make you feel right at home and immerse you in Ethiopian culture. From buying spices at the market to serving coffee in a traditional ceremony, we had a lot of laughter and learned so much. And the food was so tasty! I would highly recommend
