A disastrous tour agency

This was a disastrous day tour not because of the guide or the driver but of the road construction and being able to acces to one of the lakes also because of this. Also the fishing boat that was designed for the road was terrible and unsafe with its situation. Add to this the place I was supposed to have lunch in it had a local festival and none accessible to see the lake . All in all it was very tiresome day and I asked the guide to return me to the hotel as it was horrible with the road constructions. Something strange happened is that the tour company boss told the guide to get me to his office before the excursion start but I refused as I told the guide either you star the tour or take me back to my hotel.

The beauty of the craters! was stunning It's a good trip, but it had several butts. Only one boat ride which was disturbed with constant talking from the three staff members. Could not really enjoy the serenity of the lake. The drive was lovely, in a brand new car! The driver joined us for lunch, which I thought was odd. But it was a good trip a little expensive for one boat ride, I thought. But where is perfection in this world. All things work together for the good. Some strange characters came out of the woods at the last lake. One was staring pretty hard, came toward me and I had to think fast to get away from him, as I did not know what was going to happen. Tour guide did not see this. So you might want to lock your belongings in the car.

Pleasant day away from the city

Very pleasant day away from the hustle and bustle of Addis and only a short drive. I only visited 2 lakes (was advertised as 3) but the 2 were very nice. The boat trip was very pleasant and charming. I was then back on the mini bus to the lunch stop which was overlooking the 2nd lake. The lunch was fantastic and was a sharing platter with injerra and was great to share this experience with locals. The next stop was the traditional coffee tasting and then back to Addis. Would have like some free time and a walk round the lakes as they were Beautiful. Pleasant day but could be a little longer

The lakes are nice and worth the trip, which was pleasant and without any delays or problems. The tourist guide was nice, however I encourage him to be more sharing with the group about surrounding information etc

une journée sympathique en compagnie de Beleta notre guide, le crater lake est un endroit magnifique. Le dejeuner a eu lieu dans un restaurant surplombant le lac de bischoftu. le personnel était à nos petits soins. fin de la journée par une balade en bateau à rame.
