This tour exceeded my expectations! Our guide stayed with us from morning until evening, providing an incredibly detailed and engaging experience filled with rich history and cultural insight about Ethiopia. I especially loved learning about the first human at the Ethnological Museum — it was fascinating and deeply meaningful. He is truly a wealth of knowledge and very passionate about what he does. My friend and I also enjoyed the coffee tasting, which added a special local touch to the day. I would absolutely book this tour again in the future and highly recommend him to anyone visiting Addis Ababa.

Fantastic day to see the sites of Addis. We went at our own pace and started late to fit in with my flight arriving in the morning. I did the reviews on trip.advisor and i would highly recommend this personalized day trip around Addis. We had wonderful food tasted the coffee culture visited a huge pottery workshop, Entoto hill Church uni,Lucy in the wonderful museum, etc etc and to top it off a market selling clothes souvenirs and the guide helped me find a bargain!

Comprehensive, knowledge with warm welcome from his hospitality. My flight was cancelled so l decided to take a layover and took the private city tour with Fit. From his background with historical bachelor degree and master in indigenous history, he provided the in-depth history when we navigated around museums. The exploration in the market was mind-blowing as well. I do recommend if you want to explore Addis Ababa as solo or as couple.

Fitsum is simply amazing as a guide! He listened to what we were interested in seeing and made sure he got us there safely. He is very knowledgeable about history, culture and architecture of Addis Ababa. He is also quite personable and just generally fun to spend time with.

This tour came about as I was let down big time by another tour guide. Because I booked this tour late most things that I wanted to see, such as the museums, Lucy etc…were closed. However, this review is all about my experience with Akuye tour company which was excellent. Fitsum, my guide was very knowledgeable, easy company, sympathetic to my situation and tried his best with the time we had. He took me to the market, churches, showed me around the city, coffee experience, and made sure I was back at the airport in good time for my flight. If I’d known I would have booked with him first, had a first class experience and saved myself from a lot of wasted time and effort. I would definitely book with him again and recommend him to others.
