Yihun was a fantastic guide. The showed us Addis and were very friendly too. He was patient and took time to explain everything that was happening. Luckily for us, our tour fell on a day when everyone was commemorating lento and so the churches were full and bustling! Definitely recommend.

Good little city tour. Could do with more time at the museum where they have all the fossils (including Lucy) and less at the ethnographic (no offense, but it just wasn’t as interesting). Also: Make sure you bring toilet paper and hand sanitizer, even though you’re in the city!

Packs a lot of sightseeing in one tour. Dagim is very knowledgeable and helpful.
I lost my luggage and Dagim helped me negotiate some essential purchases in the Mercato. We also had an authentic lunch at a local dive.

Joseph was a fine guide with knowledge about his country. He was a gentle guide from the pickup at the airport until the drop off at the hotel. The city tour is a must if ever someone is visiting Eddis .The palace, the national museum and the view of the city from the mountain plus major roads that shows how this city is .I recommend this excursion.

Had a very good tour. Both tour guides Dege and George were very welcoming and knowledgeable. Great communication, they were mindful of time and the tour bus was satisfactory. Dege even helped me to get over some hurdles when trying to obtain my visa by speaking with the immigration staff. I got more than I expected. Didn't realize it would include a detailed look at Ethiopian ethnographic and military history and not just an urban tour. As someone who loves history and culture, I really appreciated this. I would actually do this tour again - it was that good. Great value for time and money. I highly recommend. Thank you so much Dege and George.

Our guides were phenomenal. Dagim and George went above and beyond. Friendly guys, full of information, great overview of the city.
WARNING: do not buy ANYTHING from SARET SEFA AHMED SOUVENIR shop. They took us there and he is a crook. Said my item would be fine to go to the US and it wasn't. Customs tried to take it. Dagim came back and got it for me and tried to mail it to me but even that didn't work. The owner specifically said it would be ok to take to the US and it obviously wasn't. Don't give his store any more business!

I initially considered giving 4 stars but decided on 5 due to the exceptional service provided by driver George and guide Joseph. George's driving through the hectic traffic of Addis Ababa made me feel very secure, and Joseph's rich historical insights were greatly appreciated.
However, there are a couple of reasons I hesitated. First, the van was in poor condition and seemed quite worn out; the company should invest in better vehicles. Second, the tour mainly involves driving with only a few stops. If you're expecting frequent stops for photos, you might be disappointed, though, given the traffic, getting out frequently might not have been ideal.
Overall, credit goes to George and Joseph for making this tour memorable.

The tour time supposed to be 7-8 hours but in reality was just 4 hours 09:30-13:00. And those attractions should to be more but we just went for a couple places, I thought we will go to take a walk at Mercato market but we just drive passed only. So I’m feel disappointed to the tour program

Great tour. Mohmd was our guide … the tour as described. Spent extra time in the market. The guide helped us navigate the market and helped in negotiating the prices. The guide was knowledgeable of the history and culture of Ethiopia and provided useful info. I appreciate the quality of services the tour company provided

A really nice nd safe way to tour around Addis Ababa. The guide Mehammed and the driver George were friendly and experienced. We visited three museums and walked through the local market. Highly recommend this tour!!

This was a superb trip in Addis Ababa guided by Mohamed and driven by George both were excellent, friendly and knowledgeable.
As an introduction to the history and culture of Ethiopia it was fabulous. I love coffee and running so they made it perfect for me I am sure they would adapt it your needs as well.
The trip started at Mount Entoto which has “magic air” according to runners - it’s 9,000ft above sea level. We visited the first king’s palace - a humble man it looks nothing like the palaces of Europe and is better for it! Also the main church that was built there.
I took my running kit and ran (downhill!) in an area where the world’s best runners train including Sir Mo. George even joined me as my coach.
We then had a perfect view over Addis as well we had a traditional coffee ceremony- the coffee here was the first in the world and is the best you can get. Perfect.
We then went to the president’s place which was converted to a university. Lovely grounds and a great museum showing everything about Ethiopian life including the different tribes, as well as the history.
For lunch I sampled a traditional Ethiopian dish which is several different vegan dishes served on Injera - pancake: eaten with fingers you use the bread to eat the sauces. It is so filling, healthy and delicious.
From there we went to the Mercato - the biggest market in Africa. A real spectacle. There is nothing you can’t buy there.
Only one thing to note the main museum which features “Lucy” the oldest remains of a human, is closed on Mondays.
However this did not change the experience. Mohamed and George were perfect hosts and I cannot recommend this tour highly enough.

Had a great time with Abe and George on a tour of Addis Ababa. Only had a day here, but would definitely consider them for future trips to see more of Ethiopia. Super friendly, and George is a great driver, making you feel safe in Addis' crazy traffic.
The tour itself is interesting. Especially the Mercato and the museums, as I love history seeing Lucy was a must. Highly recommended tour!

Abe my guide and George the driver were excellent. They were patient and knowledgeable—I was able to see all the highlights of Addis from a local point of view. The Mercato was especially fascinating—George was a skilled driver through the massive and crowded marketplace. We visited two major museums—Lucy is a must see. Abe was very informative and a great photographer to record my moments. Both driver and guide made sure I had a great visit—even stopping to help me purchase some Ethiopian coffee to bring home with me. Good tour. Thank you.

Had a fantastic time touring the city with Mohamed. He was knowledgeable, flexible, professional, and had a great passion for sharing his culture. I did the the tour during Timkat (Ethiopian Epiphany religious holiday) and Mohamed made sure I understood and was able to experience as much of the celebration as possible.

Excellent tour. I had a long layover in Addis and was traveling solo. Abe and Abiy were my guide and driver for the day. They were so knowledgeable and made sure I saw the best the city had to offer. Also very convenient that they picked up and dropped off at the airport. Personal highlights were the views from Entoto and grabbing some coffee in a small shop in town. Would definitely recommend to anyone passing through, and am so glad to have spent the day with Abe and Abiy!

We had a great time! Mohamed the guide and driver George were extremely friendly and nice to be around. Mohamed is very knowledgeable about so many things - history, culture, food.. He presents information easily without overloading, at the same time we learned so much. We were picked up at the hotel after changing the pickup time and location (thank you for this flexibility, we really appreciated it). We had coffee and lunch breaks when it was convenient for us. The day went by very fast and our requests to stop at a local market and buying some souvenirs were accommodated. I highly recommend Aman Tours and particularly Mohamed and George for anyone looking to spend meaningful time in Addis. One day city tour provides a great overview of the city and leaves you wanting to come back for more! We will be back for sure. Thank you once again!!!

I spent a great afternoon between flights with Yihan and George seeing the sights of Addis Ababa. Yihan is very knowledgeable about his city and its history. His enthusiasm was infectious. The tour highlight was a coffee ceremony and the opportunity to meet local Ethiopians celebrating a holy feast on Mount Entoto.
