An Enjoyable Day Out
An enjoyable but long day out. Beautiful scenery enroute through The Gulf Islands onto Vancouver Island. The Butchart Gardens were lovely so many colours. There are alot of shops and places to eat at Victoria. With a nice harbour in front of the Parlimentary buildings. Greg our driver took us to see the Worlds tallest totem pole.

Forbidden Vancouver
The guide, Christopher, was very entertaining. He brought the stories about Vancouver to life. He clearly enjoyed his job. The Forbidden Vancouver tour is a great weaving of stories though the guide/narrator. He goes through his "life" in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Yes, he is less corporeal than we are! Please be aware there are not as many ghost stories as I would have expected, but the tour was still enjoyable. Be prepared to walk, sometimes over uneven ground. The tour lasts about an hour and a half and is all outdoors - so dress accordingly.

Amazing!!! Such a fun day...
Amazing!!! Such a fun day and Ryan was the best guide, he rearranged the order of our activities in the hopes that we might be able to ride the gondola once the clouds had cleared and it actually worked!! :) he also told us to look out for whales at the cove and we saw some! A perfect day.

A Fun Time for All Ages; Be Sure to Confirm if You're Using the Free Shuttle
The suspension bridge, cliffwalk and treetops adventure were fun to experience. Even though it was late afternoon in mid-October, there were a lot of people visiting. I can’t imagine how crowded it must be in the summer. Many people stop halfway across the bridges and walkways to take photos, so pack your patience with you. I gave the bridge 5 stars, but the free shuttle service was confusing. We didn’t realize that we could have driven ourselves to the bridge. The pick-up location at the Hyatt was not obvious nor listed in the Viator activity information. We talked to one couple who had been at the correct pick-up location at the Hyatt for an hour. Only after I called the bridge staff did we learn that the last pick-up had been at 3:35 p.m., even though the bridge website said otherwise and the confirmation said pickup would begin at 3:45. All that aside, once we arrived at the bridge, we had a great time.

Vancouver is both cosmopolitan and connected to nature, making it a great place to enjoy the city lights before heading out into the forest. Vancouver tours make it easy to see the highlights of the city by bus, get the chance to spot whales in the sea or visit beloved attractions such as the Capilano Suspension Bridge or sprawling Stanley Park. There are loads of options that will get you out of town, too, to popular nearby destinations such as BC's capital city, Victoria, and the celebrated ski resort of Whistler.
