What are people saying about Hiroshima

The perfect duo of miyajima and hiroshima
It was a nice small group tour where our guide hiro made us use all means of transport in Japan!! It was actually good fun. Hiro was knowledgeable and street smart and gave us a lot of explanation for both Miyajima as well as the Hiroshima peace memorial area. He took us to some great picture spots and recommended good food options as well. Even at Hiroshima he hit the right spots and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour over all. He even went out of the way to take us to buy origami paper as I wanted to make the paper crane. The tour was also nicely paced and we didn’t have to hurry anywhere or finish any spot quickly. I would recommend this in a heartbeat

Marin was an amazing guide
An easy day with not too much to walk. The island trip was beautiful and had time to enjoy by ourselves. Hiroshima museum very poignant but a very worthwhile visit. Marin our guide was the happiest most friendly knowledgeable guide. She was just amazing! Thank you Marin, you were amazing :)

An unforgettable, deeply moving history experience.
An absolutely essential experience in Hiroshima. Our guide, Thomas, managed the impossible: breaking down a massive, emotionally complex historical event into a narrative that was clear, deeply respectful, and incredibly moving. Walking through the Peace Memorial Park and seeing the Atomic Bomb Dome with his insightful context completely changed how I understood the history. It is factual, human, and unforgettable. Highly recommended.

A wonderful day in the Port of Hiroshima
Wow what a wonderful day we had in port with Akie to show our group of 8 friends around. We started the day meeting her at the station after clear communication where exactly to meet. Our 1st stop was across to the lovely Miyajima Island where Akie showed us the sights and explained what we were seeing and also allowed us to experience some flavours on the island… delicious!!! What a beautiful spot that we would happily return to. Back across to the mainland for a delicious okonomyaki lunch before the sobering sights of Hiroshima. Akie explained everything we were seeing so well to us all. We then finished the day at the museum able to walk around at our own pace. We all agreed what a wonderful day we had made even better with having Akie as our guide for the day. Her English was very good and her communication with me prior to the day was excellent. Do yourself a favour and book this wonderful tour and if you’re lucky to get Alie as your guide is an added bonus!!

Many Hiroshima tours focus on the city’s World War II-era history, with guided visits to attractions like the UNESCO-listed Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and the Atomic Bomb Dome. But the city hasn’t let itself be fully defined by tragedy. A local guide can help you navigate modern Hiroshima and learn more about the city’s rich culture. Activities like tea ceremonies, food tours, and day trips to see the famous Itsukushima Shrine in Miyajima can show you all that the city has to offer.
