My husband and I both...

My husband and I both agree that this was the highlight of our trip to Maui. The tour is highly organized and well-planned from pickup to drop-off. We were provided with more than enough food throughout the day, including breakfast, lunch, chips, and water (with vegetarian options available). If you are planning to take this tour, make sure to request a stop at Aunty Sandy's to get two loaves of banana bread—one to eat right away and one to take home! Also, stop by Coconut Glen's for some ube and coconut-flavored ice cream—yum! While every stop was fantastic and had something unique to offer, what truly made this experience special was our driver and tour guide, Justin. He is incredibly knowledgeable, funny, a great listener, and an excellent storyteller who is attentive to every passenger. He made us all feel like one big happy family on a fun road trip to Hana with our cousin or nephew behind the wheel. We would definitely do this tour again and will absolutely request Justin as our guide. Highly recommended!

Great day with a great...

Great day with a great crew! The seas were a little choppy and that made for rough going some of the time, but Captin A'alona and Kaiao were wonderful. Due to the hurricaine last month the harbor where the larger boat is docked was not accessible, Makana charters did a great pivot and we went out of a smaller harbor on a smaller boat. The views were incredible! I have been to Kaua'i a few times and never saw this part of the island. Sooooo worth it.

Exciting and scary!

A very wild and thrilling activity! We wasn’t sure if brave enough but really glad we did it. Exhilarating but also able to feel comfortable and safe while experiencing the 6 or 8 sharks circling us. We had 8 people in the cage together for maximum dive time and felt there was plenty of space.

Highlight of our Trip!

Absolutely blown away by the Te Au Moana luau! The setting was stunning, located right on the water providing gorgeous views of the sunset. The open bar provided plenty of tropical drinks, and the food was served family-style and delicious. They acknowledged birthdays, honeymoons and anniversaries, which was a cute way to make people feel like they were celebrated. The highlight for us was definitely the dancing though. This luau incorporates many Polynesian cultures, which gave us the opportunity to learn and experience even more, including a fire dancing finale! The staff was friendly and attentive, the dancers were talented and overall, was the highlight of our time in Maui. Highly recommend!

Great tour and excellent guide. Highly informative guide who talked about the history of the island, culture of people, places, food and everything under the sun. The temple was beautiful and the entire route was beautiful. I would definitely recommend this tour to all my friends.

Good tour, good valur

The tour driver drops you off and picks you up. Except for needing to board the ferry to the USS Arizona you are on your own to explore. That is fine. There is enough time and signage is good. Unless you have a large group this is more reasonable than renting a car and paying for parking.

This was one of the best...

This was one of the best excursions I’ve ever done! We saw so many rays it was awesome! I will say people who get motion sickness or sea sickness should be aware (as the waiver says). There were multiple people throwing up in the water and on the boat which took away from our experience. Other than that tho it was great!

A must do experience

This was a must do experience! I took my partner for his 30th birthday and we both enjoyed it so much! We got picked up and dropped to the event, the bus was entertaining with Greg being an amazing host! Then we were greeted by the mauka warriors and dancers! The food and drinks were great! The pre-show stalls were amazing, we got complementary photos, handcrafted headbands, temporary tattoos and so much more! I couldn't recommend this enough!

Despite booking on an extremely windy morning, Captain Justin and his excellent crew Emily, Kirstie, and Anna ensured every member of our party was welcome, safe, and card for. They accommodated our very strict vegan diet with grace and provided abundant food. The boat is extremely comfortable and steady, even in high winds. Justin is a gifted communicator and kept us up to date at all times. Most importantly, I observed the crew interacting personally with every member of every party in different ways, giving every person what they individually needed-encouragement, friendliness, instruction, a listening ear, or just a smile. They truly thought of everything. This was truly a top notch experience.

Me and my wife chose to do this activity together while being on our anniversary. My wife is diving certified but this was very new to me. With me being new, I was very comfortable in doing this activity with this charter. They were amazing. The crew interacted while making sure our safety was priority.
