You have to do it!

We had so much fun on this tour! Me and my wife considered driving the Road to Hana ourselves, but we’re so glad we did the guided tour instead. We actually got to take in the views as we drove along, and we didn’t have to stress about any of the logistics. The views were amazing and we got some delicious banana bread and coffee! Our tour guide, John, was super funny and knowledgeable! We learned a lot and had fun listening to his “87.9 Road to Hana” playlist he played after the trip was over. 10/10 recommend!!

Highlight of our Trip!

Absolutely blown away by the Te Au Moana luau! The setting was stunning, located right on the water providing gorgeous views of the sunset. The open bar provided plenty of tropical drinks, and the food was served family-style and delicious. They acknowledged birthdays, honeymoons and anniversaries, which was a cute way to make people feel like they were celebrated. The highlight for us was definitely the dancing though. This luau incorporates many Polynesian cultures, which gave us the opportunity to learn and experience even more, including a fire dancing finale! The staff was friendly and attentive, the dancers were talented and overall, was the highlight of our time in Maui. Highly recommend!

Bar none, this was #1 of all Kauai trips taken over 4 decades. The two man crew could not have done more to enhance our experience;they were the very, very best, and the memories will live for years. Kudos to each of them for putting everything they had into the afternoon along the coastline, and showing us things we had never seen or even known existed. Thanks to the crew, we’ve had a literal experience of a lifetime.

This was one of the best excursions I’ve ever done! We saw so many rays it was awesome! I will say people who get motion sickness or sea sickness should be aware (as the waiver says). There were multiple people throwing up in the water and on the boat which took away from our experience. Other than that tho it was great!

The tour driver drops you off and picks you up. Except for needing to board the ferry to the USS Arizona you are on your own to explore. That is fine. There is enough time and signage is good. Unless you have a large group this is more reasonable than renting a car and paying for parking.

Ariel (Cousin A) was one of the best guides I have ever had, and I have been using Viator all over the world. He was smart as hell and knowledgeable on the ships, USA, Japan, Hawaii. Despite booking on an extremely windy morning, Captain Justin and his excellent crew Emily, Kirstie, and Anna ensured every member of our party was welcome, safe, and card for. They accommodated our very strict vegan diet with grace and provided abundant food. The boat is extremely comfortable and steady, even in high winds. Justin is a gifted communicator and kept us up to date at all times. Most importantly, I observed the crew interacting personally with every member of every party in different ways, giving every person what they individually needed-encouragement, friendliness, instruction, a listening ear, or just a smile. They truly thought of everything. This was truly a top notch experience.

Amazing Adventure Not to Miss!

Such an AMAZING experience. Definitely will not disappoint. The water was choppy since Hurricane Lowell had come through days before but didn’t take away from the excursion at all! I had no issues even though I normally have motion sickness if things are too much. Bring sunscreen and don’t forget your towels! So many sharks to see! Get the video option to capture the memories.
