Ariga_K, Jun 2026

It was titled english guided tour, the guide only showed us how to download an app and scanned tickets at entrance and left. The app didn't even help.

Response from Host, Sep 2026

We are deeply sorry to hear about your experience. When you book an English guided tour, you should expect an expert, live guide to walk you through the collection and share the history of the masterpieces—not simply an app download and a ticket scan. What you experienced is completely unacceptable and does not reflect our service standards. If a live guided tour was not provided as advertised, that is a clear service failure on our part. We want to make this right immediately. Since this was a verified failure to deliver the guided portion of your ticket, please contact us directly via the messaging feature on your Viator booking. Our support team will process a full refund for your tour with highest priority. Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention so we can address it with our local operations team in Rome and ensure it does not happen again.

This was a very interesting walk through time with several different artists and sculptors. Our guide was very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job of pointing out little known facts as well as details about each room in the gallery.

Thank you so much for the fantastic 5-star review! We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your journey through time at the Borghese Gallery! With such a rich collection of masterworks from legendary artists and sculptors, having a knowledgeable guide to highlight hidden details and room-by-room history makes all the difference. We truly appreciate you sharing your experience, and we hope to welcome you on another guided tour during your next trip to Rome!

Best 2 hour visit to Villa Borghese

janette_m, May 2026

This was by far the best 2 hour guided tour we have had during this trip to Rome. Our guide Velaria was both exceptionally knowledgeable... and extremely personable. She structured the visit around an informal narrative that really brought the whole experience to life. Would absolutely recomend this tour.

Response from Host, Sep 2026

Thank you so much for the outstanding 5-star review! We are thrilled to hear that this was the best guided tour of your entire trip to Rome! Valeria is indeed an exceptional guide, and her ability to weave deep art history into an engaging, storytelling narrative is what makes her tours at the Borghese Gallery so special. She will be absolutely delighted by your high praise and recommendation. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us, and we hope to welcome you on another guided journey during your next visit to Italy!

Don’t book with them.

joey_o, Oct 2025

Terrible. Booked a month earlier. Sent them a message the morning of. They replied back a hour before it started saying “sorry, due to technical error we got your booking. Will refund after event starts.” So we were unable to go and it was fully booked for the day. What a time we had!!

Response from Host, Oct 2025

We’re truly sorry for the inconvenience caused and completely understand how frustrating this must have been — especially after booking so far in advance and looking forward to your visit. Unfortunately, due to a rare technical error, your booking didn’t process correctly on our end, which led to the delay in communication. We feel sorry for ruining your plans that day — it was absolutely not the experience we want anyone to have. The refund was already initiated, and you should have received it by now. We genuinely appreciate your patience in this unpleasant situation. Also, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback twice for the same incident — we’ll take that as double motivation to make sure it doesn’t happen again!
