I have no idea how this tour operator has such good reviews, but as of June 15, 2026 this vendor is an absolute SCAM! There are so many golf cart tours to choose from - choose another!!
We are a family of 4 with 8 year old twins, and Rome was our last stop in a 10 day trip. My husband and I have been to Rome before, and we wanted our daughters to see the highlights, so we wanted to do a golf cart tour since we knew they’d be tired.
I chose this operator since they stated they’d pick up at our hotel. The tour stated it started at 12:00AM, and I figured surely this was a typo since who would start a tour at midnight for 3 hours? Keep in mind the description says nothing about it being a night tour.
I booked it and immediately sent a message to confirm the start time and that ideally we’d like to start at 11:00am if available. I received a message back that it would be best to start as close to the stater time as possible. So I sent another message asking if it started at 12:00AM (24:00) which seemed incorrect, and if it was supposed to be 12:00 PM which would be fine for us. I would have canceled if it was midnight.
I reviewed a message back that yes, they’d meet us at the hotel at 12:00. Which wasn’t exactly reassuring since they didn’t explicitly answer that it was NOON, but they also knew we didn’t want 12:00AM and he said yes, they’d see us at 12:00.
On the day of the tour I got a message at 12:48 am saying our tour is coming up soon. Then I got a message that our driver was Marina. I wrote back asking AGAIN if they were picking us up at noon, and that we were at the hotel and could be ready as early as 10:30AM if she wanted to come earlier.
Heard nothing back. Noon comes and goes and no golf cart. At 12:15 I call and no answer. Get Viator involved and the tour said they wouldn’t refund since we booked a 12:00AM tour.
They dodged the question over and over. They’re doing this to scam tourists!

Our tour guide- Sam was wonderful as was the second driver. Two very nice men and Sam was very knowledgeable.
However our party of 6 was split into two golf carts and defeated the purpose of scheduling a golf cart tour. Therefore I would not recommend. We were unhappy to be split up and many other tour companies had larger carts. We should have been notified ahead of time that this was the set up.

We also provide golf carts for up to 50 people, and I assure you that there is no vehicle for 50 people.
Beware of tourist shuttles with 8 seats; they are not regular in Rome, and in case of an accident, the insurance will not cover you.

Nice guide, knowledgeable, flexible. Only small problem was that the booking site would only let us book with a child included in the price… which we don’t have. So it wound up being more expensive than it should have been. But a worthwhile trip.

Our golf cart tour of Rome was a wonderful experience. Our guide, Max, picked us up and dropped us off directly from our Airbnb and adjusted the tour based on what we wanted to see. He took lots of pictures for us. His knowledge of Rome was beyond compare. He explained everything in great detail! The overall tour was so informational and it was a great way to see all of the key places in Rome!

Great tour to get an idea of where the main attractions are in Rome and the distance between them, so you can plan your transportation or walking expeditions during your visit to this amazing city. We booked the tour at 7 pm. The photos of the main Roman attractions came out awesome, and the temperature was cooler in the middle of July. Our tour providers answered our text messages before the tour to make sure we had arrived to the correct meeting place. Both the golf cart driver and tour guide were knowledgeable and gave a great tour. Highly recommend this type of tour the day you arrive at Rome.

One of my favorite things was enjoying the cafes and people watching. The food wonderful. I found the people very kind and extremely friendly, I loved the the history and the architecture. The only negative were the mobs of people walking around staring at their phones not looking where they were going.

Exclusive Experience with Max was incredible! We booked this last minute and he arrived early and took us everywhere. He added multiple stops onto our golf cart tour so we were able to check so many things off our list that we read about in our Rome tour book. Don't miss this one. After 2 full days of walking and touring this was a great way to see things we had missed. We got to see places we never would have been able to see on foot. We felt very safe riding around and we were able to do exactly what we wanted on this private tour. They even drove us back to our hotel which was a bit out of the way. We've got friends who have booked for the summer and we can't wait to hear about their adventures.

This was one of the highlights of our trip through several cities in Europe. There were so many sites we wanted to see, but only had one day to do it.
Our driver Andreas and tour guide Christina were terrific! They were full of information and fun to be with.
The best part is that we could pull up close to nearly all of the major spots we wanted to see. Any bus tour would not be able to come close to several of the best tour spots due to the narrow and crowded streets. This is a GREAT way to see multiple spots in a short amount of time with limited walking... especially since they picked us up at our hotel.
