If you are using the Viator place, pay attention that your tickets will come through your email. We needed help when we arrived at the Colosseum due to our lack of understanding of this. One of our party ended up getting their tickets through Venmo as that was the way they paid. Just pay close attention to this part. The Colosseum was absolutely fabulous and we loved it!

Viator map took us to the wrong gate. Tickets on email and website were very hard to find. Had to tap on “contact tour” to find. Switching from audio to map while doing tour was not done with ease as could not switch back and forth without closing the map. The free Rick Steve’s audio works better!

Therefore, there was no need to click “contact tour” to retrieve them—simply checking your inbox would have been sufficient. Regarding the audio guide, we are not sure what you are referring to. Our audio guide is an interactive app with more than 40 points of interest. It offers unlimited listening and complete flexibility: you can enjoy it before or after your visit, in any order you prefer. For example, you could start from point 40 and then return to point 1 without any issue. There is no fixed path to follow. Also, there was no need to switch between the map and the audio, since everything is integrated on the same page for ease of use. As for the Colosseum entrance, you received the address and detailed instructions prior to your visit. The audio guide does not serve as a navigation tool to the entrance, but rather as a way to enrich your experience by highlighting key points of interest. Although your review appears somewhat confusing, we felt it important to clarify these aspects.

I sent numerous emails as I was told by Viator 3 days after purchase I would receive the tickets. The operator Golden Ticket said that was incorrect information it would be 3 days before the activity as I had purchased well in advanced. I communicated numerous times with them about the tickets. In addition, they failed to meet at the site. It was completely Self-Guided. Poor Communication. Not Recommended

Un engaño. Compramos una visita al Coliseo romano y nos han cobrado más de el doble que en el lugar oficial. Te engañan haciendo parecer que te incluye extras, pero cuando estás allí, te das cuenta que esos supuestos extras son lugares gratuitos a los que evidentemente puedes ir sin pagar ningún extra. Les falta poner en la lista de cosas que incluye, el aire que respiras. En definitiva, solamente te dan la entrada que podrías comprar por menos de la mitad con un ebook en pdf que tampoco has solicitado, supongo que para justificar el sablazo. Una ESTAFA en toda regla.

Of course it's in the human nature to find oneself in difficulty especially if it's a new place they are visiting for the first time. We tried to be there to assist you throughout the visit but you had to make the first move and contact us even if was for the most ridiculous of requests. When you booked your visit, you guaranteed your entry but the security checks and eventually the printing of the tickets are general procedures which sometimes takes around 10-15 mins due to colosseum being one of the busiest places for tourists in the world. However, we can assure you that you had a priority pass to get to the counter as you did not wait in the general entrance for hours. In addition to the entry tickets and the 24hr virtual assistant, we also provided you with an e-book guide, something that stays with you as a souvenir forever. Thank you again for booking with us and hope that apart from the slight hitches mentioned by you, the rest of the visit went wonderfully.
