With your booking voucher in hand, head into central London to start your sightseeing adventure at any of the numerous stops around town. The open-top double-decker buses operate on three different routes—blue, red, and green—and offer a wide selection of places to get on and off.
How long you stay onboard is up to you. Disembark at stops such as Buckingham Palace, Brompton Road for shopping at Harrods, or the Victoria and Albert Museum for art and culture in the center of town. Alternatively, use the hop-on hop-off tour ticket to reach the start point for your river cruise or self-guided walking tour. Both are included as “extras” with multi-day tour tickets.

- 2.5-Hour Express Panoramic bus tour (if option is selected): includes a 2.5-hour panoramic single loop of London only, with no hopping off. Every seat on our top deck offers 360-degree views of London's top sights. You'll be treated to perfect shots of London's skyline with nothing in your way and informative audio guides point out histories, secrets, and the city's lively spirit. You can start your journey at any of our stops on the Red Route. Please note, this is not a hop-on hop-off service. Buses run every 20 minutes until 3:30pm, then every 30 minutes. First departure from Stop 1 at 8:45am. Last departure from Stop 1 at 6:30pm
- Stop 12 Horseferry Road will be suspended Monday - Friday until further notice due to extensive traffic conditions around the Lambeth Bridge area. The stop will continue to be served on Saturdays and Sundays only. The nearest alternative boarding point is Stop 10 Westminster Pier (next to Big Ben)
- Stop 17 Grosvenor Gardens (Red Route) is temporarily closed until further notice. Customers should use Stop 16 Buckingham Palace Road instead, located directly outside Victoria Station
- Red and Green Routes - Temporary Diversion: Due to road closures on Whitehall in preparation for Remembrance Sunday: Buses will operate from Stop 24 via Strand and Waterloo Bridge, directly to Stop 1. Stops 25, 26 and 27 will be temporarily suspended until further notice
- Sunday 8th November - Additional Red Route Service Disruptions: A series of events taking place on Sunday will further affect our Red Route operations. From 9am, Stops 5, 26 and 27 will be temporarily suspended until further notice. From 12pm, buses will be withdrawn from the Piccadilly area. Services will operate from Stop 24, then via Victoria directly to Stop 1. Stops 25, 26 and 27 will remain closed. Additional diversions will affect the eastbound direction, with Stops 3 and 4 also impacted

I thought this was a great first day tour. It gave you a great view of everything in London. The head phones were great. It was a bit longer that I thought. Probably because I was tired from my 19 hour flight.

The bus experience was what we needed. We were able to jump on and off at different locations. There was not a lot of audio commentary but some basics to listen to.
Our biggest issue was we didn’t receive any information to tell us how to actually use the purchase. There are lots of hop on and off companies all using the same stops. We had to call to figure out what bus and we also didn’t know that someone from the company has to scan your code and print a ticket which then meant they were frustrated we were holding up the bus. If you are going to provide a service then you need to communicate how to use it. There also is an app that we had to research to find as it was never in any of the information.

The link sent for the voucher would not open. When I was finally able to connect with customer service the day was half gone and the pdf they sent didn’t have a meeting point shown.
I’m sure the Hop on Hop off worked great but the Viator service didn’t. I’n the future I’ll find another service

We had a horrible experience. The busses did not run as frequently as other companies. One driver stopped but would not let anyone on, another “paused” at a stop but did not take on passengers. We had a “we are running ahead of schedule” stop for ten minutes that seemed totally nonsensical. It took so long to get to our intended stop that we had to take an expensive cab back to our hotel because the buses had finished for the day. AND they never responded to our message on the app. I paid for two days but did not try again the second day. This was a total waste of money.

Barely missed there bus and then waited 45 for another. Gave up and went with another tour. Too long of wait
Very slow moving around due to traffic and diversions. Full buses and not a lot of room. Tour audio also was not synced up with where we actually were driving.

The audio was not in sync with the location we were passing. So we heard about a site long before we passed it and were trying to view the site while listening to the information on the next location.
The bus was comfortable, but not clean. It was an average experience.

There are 4 different hop on hop off companies that operate in London. It’s very confusing as to which bus was ours. It was difficult to find the stops. Also they should tell you to bring wired earbuds so you can plug in and hear the audio. Would not book this again

Not recommended, not well organized , they don’t mention stop numbers as listed on the map but narrate attractions so you have to be constantly attentive to where you are. Busses are not frequent as other operators and don’t stop always at stops. We used City sightseeing hop on hop off in every other city and they were excellent but not in London

We sincerely apologize for the confusion with the stop numbers on the map versus the audio narration and for the issues you mention about bus frequency and not stopping at all stops. We understand it requires constant attention and it is not the experience we want to offer.
We have transferred your comments to our London bus operations team to review the synchronization of the audio guide with our official stops and our stopping and frequency protocols on the route.

This is a decent way to see different sights in London. It was sometimes hard to understand what was being said with the headphones because there was some garbling. It's definitely not a speedy way to get around as there are many stops (good if you're trying to get off, but bad if you're actually trying to get to a specific stop) and we did sit at one stop at an extraordinarily long time in the heat and without any shade because we apparently had to put some space between our bus and the one in front of us. This tour served its purpose but there might be better ways to get around.

You nailed both sides of the hop-on hop-off trade-off: great for ticking off sights and hopping off, but not the fastest A-to-B when we’ve got a lot of stops and have to space buses out. Sorry about that long, hot wait without shade. That’s not fun, and we should have explained the spacing delay better on board.
And noted on the garbled audio. We’re checking that bus’s headphone jacks and commentary track right now, because if you can’t hear the story, we’re missing the point.
Appreciate you choosing us and glad we served the purpose, even if there’s room to do it better.
