Late but still worth it

Due to traffic, the driver was 40 minutes late, but Tripadvisor kept me updated, and the driver was extremely apologetic when he did finally arrive. Getting around in Athens can be daunting and a little scary. Our driver was fabulous though.

Perfect Athens Highlights Tour

Great way to get oriented to the city and have a glimpse of the highlights. Perfect for anyone with mobility issues and/or ready for a break from the crowds. Pamos, our driver and guide, was SO knowledgeable and even coordinated for us to see the changing of the guard. He took us to great vantage points. He was fun and always made sure we were safe. We had a round-trip from our hotel instead of to/from the port/airport. Either is a great choice!

My driver, Chris was early - and waiting in a visible location for me to find him. We got swiftly and safely into the city so I could visit some of the historic sights of Athens and enjoy lunch - then made our way to the airport with plenty of time for the connecting flight. Chris was a great communicator, letting me know some background of the city in modern times and making recommendations for places to eat. Such a great experience

Glorified Scheduled Taxi Service

This is a glorified scheduled taxi service. We arrived in Athens Port, and we were supposed to be picked up outside the terminal. There were two areas where pickup could occur, so we were confused. The driver called and we tried to meet up, but apparently "we're standing by the taxis" wasn't clear enough instruction. He was definitely a little testy, but this is your home, not ours. Give us a little slack. We finally met up, but he didn't have a sign with our names or provide a description of the vehicle. That would've helped a lot because he literally picked us up in a basic yellow taxi (hard to pick out of 25 of them). I'm just grateful he picked us up and got us where we needed, but wouldn't recommend.

Good Evening Thank you for smelling the experience with the community. On the day he scheduled the appointment with us at the port of Piraeus, there were 4 Cruise Ships at the same time. The total number of passengers was 15,000 passengers. Your ship was docked between two terminals and we were waiting for the port officials to tell us from which terminal they will take you out. They were constantly changing the information, the driver was in communication with you on the phone trying to communicate with you and with the port authorities at the same time. How did you know that the vehicle we sent was a taxi? Why did you leave the terminal exit and go to the taxi parking lot? When you were constantly changing notes, how did you expect us to find you in this mess? Also, without a sign, the police do not let drivers approach the terminal exit. Also, how did you recognize the driver since he was not holding a sign? The only easy thing is to criticize others without judging our own mistakes You know sometimes it needs your help and participation to make things work.

Hello the center of athens was closed from 6:00 in the morning until 15:00 at noon because of the bicycle race. We tried to contact you the day before but your phone wasn't working, we left a message at your hotel, we called, but the reception, for reasons of preserving personal data, didn't tell us your room to call you, they don’t tell us if you were staying at this hotel. We also gave the company's phone number. at the reception to call us, but this never happened. We have secured the transportation of 7 different guests and you are the only one who did not contact us despite our efforts.

What you are doing is unacceptable. Criticism is acceptable when it describes what is happening and not simply to justify your own choice to leave earlier than the appointment. The driver arrived at 11:00 am and looked for you, but the reception informed him that you left earlier with 2 other taxis because you were afraid of getting stuck in traffic. We can prove to you that we were there waiting for you at OUR TIME. Next time support your choices and don't criticize where you shouldn't.

Dimitri was a wonderful driver. However, I don’t think he is an employee of the service. He communicated when he was headed our way and was waiting outside for us. 5 stars for him. He appeared to be a regular cab driver because he was driving a yellow car with a taxi light on top. This wasn’t what we expected from see the ad on viatar. Could have saved money by just using a cab service.
