We spent a few night in Amsterdam and took a few boat cruises with different comapnies, which are an amazing way to see the city. This cruise was without doubt the best. Our guide deejay (or DJ) was so entertaining and informative, he clearly enjoys what he does. I would recommend Boatamsterdam.com. If you're visiting Amsterdam you must do at least one boat cruise (I would advise one per day...take it easy for an hour), and if you're only going to do it once do it with boatamsterdam.com

Highly recommend. Lovely boat tour of Amsterdam. The crew were fantastic. Lots of information about the city. Plenty of drinks for the price. Due to quiet water ways was allowed to captain the boat in the wider part of the river.

We landed up being in the wrong place because of bad communication by the provider of the canal tour and therefore missed the trip. I messaged two days before asking for clarification, when the office was said to be open, but no-one replied for 2 days, by which time it was too late.
Also the telephone number does not work.
