Great Tour

This is a wonderful tour of Versailles Palace. Our guide was very engaging and knowledgeable. Of course the palace is spectacular. Although with garden access, it would have been nice to have a bit more time after the tour to explore the garden and grab a bite in the cafe and hit the gift shop. By the time we had a coffee and shopped a little, we only had 5 minutes for a few quick pics in the front of the garden.

Perfect tour with excellent guide!

Excellent tour of Versailles with knowledgeable, friendly and personable guide Sophie. Lots of information told in a fun and interesting way. Lots of time to take pictures and not rushed. Sophie was a great giving us other information on the property and surrounding area as well that we would not have discovered on our own. She was happy to take the time to answer questions and pointed out many things through the rooms. This was the perfect tour and Sophie was an amazing guide. Also would like to note great communication from the tour company ahead of our tour on where to meet, etc.

Thank you Fabienne for a great tour!! We were with a group of 20. We met at a metro station in Paris and she guided us all to Versailles, walking tour with headphones through the royal chambers then left us to self tour in the gardens. The provided metro ticket included our return trip to any Paris station and Fabienne made sure we all knew how to navigate the metro to get back. Nice tour! Tuesday is Versailles busiest day so recommend you do a different day.. it was really crowded!

Amazing value and far surpassed our expectations!

When we arrived for our 9:40 AM tour, they offered us the 1020 tour as the earlier one had about 25 people and the later one only had about 10 which I found very courteous. Our to our guide was Kristina and she was witty, informative, and an absolute delight to view the palace with. She had many helpful hints, tips and tricks for visiting the rest of the grounds after our palace tour.

Excellent tour!

This tour was highly worth it. Olivia was very knowledgeable and kept the tour fun and interesting. We learned so much in the time with her about the history and culture at Versailles. Wonderful

This was a wonderful day in Versailles. The meeting instructions to begin our tour were clear and accurate and Annie was a cheerful, friendly and helpful guide. She was informative about the history of the palace and the people who lived there. We all loved the golf carts tour of the extensive gardens at the beginning of the tour. The included shuttle connections between the Trianons and the Palace were good to have over long distances. Appropriate time was allowed for a coffee stop in the morning and for lunch. Some of our group opted to cycle between the attractions which meant our guide had to go with them and she had to rely on one of the rest of the group to take responsibility for a group ticket for shuttle transport for the rest of the party. This worked with the goodwill of all involved. However, I think issuing individual tickets for the shuttle would give more flexibility. Participants could then choose to spend as much time as they wished at the different attractions and be responsible for getting themselves to the final meeting point on time before entry to the palace. We all had a wonderful day, however, and would certainly recommend this tour.

Stress-free Way to Visit Versailles

We were very pleased with our Private Tour of Versailles. Our wonderful guide, Zara, picked us up promptly at our Paris hotel in a very clean and comfortable Tesla. She proved right away that she is a skilled and experienced driver in the crazy Paris traffic, maneuvering through the traffic circle around the Arch de Triumphe like a champ. Zara speaks English very well, and we had no difficulty understanding her. She began our tour immediately after our introductions, explaining the origins of the palace with Louis XIV and continuing, so that by the time we arrived at Versailles, we had a good understanding of what we were about to see. When we arrived at the palace, Zara dropped us off at the entrance while she located a parking space for her car. She was very clear about where we were to meet her. We didn't have to wait long, as she was able to park and get back to us within a few minutes. She got us right into the palace, skipping the lines that were already forming. Once inside, she provided us with listening devices with ear buds so that we could hear her clearly over the other guides in the crowded venue. We were very pleased with her knowledge of Versailles and the history of France and the events leading up to the French Revolution that she shared with us as she expertly guided us from room to room. She also provided us with an opportunity to enter and photograph the amazing gardens. During our return drive to Paris, our guide pointed out landmarks and made suggestions of other things we might be interested in doing and seeing while in Paris. Again, we were impressed with her ability to navigate Paris traffic and drop us off safely at our hotel. We were very happy with our experience.

Historical Versailles Private Tour

Gustavo was at our hotel a few minutes early, so we were already on our way by 2 pm. It was a great experience for our first visit to Versailles. Gustavo shared a lot of history about Versailles, including information about the royal families of France in relation to Versailles and history of Versailles itself - from the beginning to now. He pointed out the reservoir for the water that feeds the fountains and explained a little about how they work. After our tour of Versailles, we spent time in the gardens and were able to admire the fountains - which were running! We didn’t stay as long as we might have if it was warmer and not raining.
