Top Tokyo Bus Tours

As a solo traveller, I love doing bike tours in countries I've never visited, so when I came across this tour, I booked it five months in advance because the itinerary looked so interesting. It ended up being one of my favourite days in Tokyo! The tour is incredibly well planned and thought out, with regular stops and plenty of time to take everything in without ever feeling rushed. There was so much to see along the way! Some of my many highlights included discovering hidden shrines tucked away in quiet neighbourhoods known only to locals, noticing the little details of everyday life for Tokyoites, exploring the beautiful grounds of Meiji Jingu, and being absolutely wowed by the panoramic views from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. One moment you're cycling through peaceful residential streets, and the next you're riding through the hustle and bustle of Shinjuku, Shibuya and Ginza. The contrast between the different sides of Tokyo was genuinely exhilarating, offering such a unique and intimate way to experience the city! And then there's Gaku! He's incredibly knowledgeable and had the answer to all my questions, even the most random ones! He was so welcoming, thoughtful and patient — I never once felt rushed or like I had to hurry. He's also really funny and a fantastic photographer! It's clear he genuinely cares about his guests and wants them to get the most out of the experience. Whether you're travelling solo or with friends, book it — you won't regret it!

Erik was great, we started with a clear message on the directions the day before so finding the location in the morning wa a a breeze. Erik then explained the plan for the day, when we can best see Fuji and was on hand to answer any questions we might have. At each location he gave us the best tips which helped with time management and made sure we didn't miss the best bits. Overall it's a nice day out from Tokyo with a relaxed pace. Erik was great as a host and I would recommend this tour.

We had a wonderful guide. She was so informative and happy and enjoyable. The tour was well planned. Enjoyed it very much. Imichko was fabulous. Very knowledgeable at the end of the trip she gave us a printout of Japanese words to help us in our journey in Japan. The best Tours person I have ever had.
