Had a great time!!! Mai, our tour guide was awesome. Her English was excellent and she did a great job of explaining the sites and meeting locations. The shrines and temples were very interesting and lunch was very good. The highlights for me were the Sky Tree Tower and cruise.

Very well organized and we saw all the most important sites a first time travelor should see in Tokyo. Loved the Matcha goodies and the lunch was a wondrful slice of Japanese food. Levin was a wondeful guide. He was organized, informative, easy to understand, and funny. He kept he group moving but only up to the pace of the slower walkers. Definitely a keeper!

Itinerary

Make your way to the centrally located meeting point in Tokyo’s Shinjuku neighborhood and jump on board your comfortable coach for a full day of exploring the Japanese capital.

After a visit to the Meiji Jingu shrine, arrive at the Imperial Palace, the current residence of the Imperial family, where you’ll visit either the East Garden or the Niju-bashi Bridge in the Outer Garden. Next is Senso-ji temple in Asakusa where you’ll have time to shop for souvenirs on Nakamise Avenue before enjoying a matcha-tasting experience and Japanese-style lunch.

Next up is the soaring Tokyo SkyTree where you’ll skip the line for the Tembo Deck observatory, which offers stunning city views. Then it’s on to the Odaiba district where you’ll take a ferry ride across Tokyo Bay and under Rainbow Bridge.

Make use of the free Wi-Fi on the coach ride to Shinjuku Station where you’ll be dropped off.

Main Meals: A set meal with Japanese fried chicken and Tofu. No pork, no seafood but please note that Miso soup contains fish stock. No nuts, no crustaceans but anyone who has a serious allergy, please book the tour without lunch.
Gluten-free Meals: A meal with grilled chicken, rice, miso soup and tofu.
Muslim-friendly meals, Allergy-friendly meals, lactose-free meals, etc. are not available. Please book the tour without lunch.
Customers who need each options will be charged more for changes on the day, therefore please select with lunch option in advance
Sometimes cruise can be suspended due to high tide or techinical maintenance. In that case, we visit alternative place (Hamarikyu-Garden or Fukagawa museum) so we do not visit Odaiba.Refund will not be given for this case.
Please let us know your booking numbers and total number of people before the tour if you have several bookings or if you have booked separatly.
Due to the weather conditions, traffic conditions, or suspension of operation, we may have a possibility not to achieve all the activities. The tour will be attending to alternative place or giving ou t a gift as a compensation depending on a situation at that time. Refunds will not be given for these changes.
If you are late for the tour start time, you will not be able to join the tour mid-way.
Please handle the loading and unloading of your luggage from the trunk yourself. (Including wheelchairs, stroller etc..)
Matcha store will be closed on May 14th, so we will be giving out matcha souvenirs as Matcha experience.

Aya was a lovely guide, knowledgeable and shared a lot of history that was new to me! She was funny and kind and I would love a tour by her again! Minimal walking, nice to leave extra stuff/purchases on the bus! I tried to book directly on Japan Panoramic Tours but they wouldn’t take my Visa credit card, grateful Viator makes payments easy for US citizens!

I had a great time with my tour guide Lovely she was true to her name and a joy to be with I’m so happy I spent my day doing this trip and having her as a guide, this is my first full day in Japan so I had lots of questions about the rest of my trip and she was so helpful and funny. Tour was great, the sky tree fast pass was so nice BRING A CAMERA WITH 30X ZOOM OR MORE SO FUN!!!!! Just the efficiently, and great pacing of the day was so nice along with just the right amount of information It’s a no brainer to book doing this whole itinerary on your own would takes you so much more time like multiple days with so much wasted time with travel logistics and booking it all yourself DO THIS TOUR AND MY TOUR GUIDE LOVELY WAS A SWEETHEART!!!!!!

My father recently took this one-day Tokyo bus tour, and he absolutely loved it. He had a fantastic experience from start to finish and couldn't stop talking about how well organized and enjoyable the day was. What stood out most was the level of care and attention the staff provided. They truly went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable throughout the tour. They were incredibly attentive, ensuring that he always knew where to be and making sure he was back on the bus at every stop. AMAZING tour! A long day but a great way to cover the main attractions of Tokyo. Very well organized … we covered a lot of ground staring with the older Tokyo locations in the morning. The Matcha Break and Lunch were great followed by the newer Tokyo sites. We never felt rushed … and the bus was super clean and comfortable. Special shoutout to our guide Lovely who was absolutely incredible!! She was funny and entertained us with details and facts of Tokyo and Japanese culture throughout. She ran the entire schedule at an amazing pace and kept everyone happy and at ease. She was the reason this tour was so fun ! We cannot recommend her enough! Thank you for an amazing day Lovely!!

Pay attention to directions given by the guide for meeting locations during tour. Take picture of locations offered on tour during drive so you can find them. We had several people miss the bus as meeting locations were not easy to find during the tour.
