Well organised great guide Dora Lovely shrine tried matcha which was nice and for 39 people ran like clockwork. Enjoyable lunch Sky tree busy but that’s Tokyo A great way to see the city sights in 1 day Recommend

Had a great time!!! Mai, our tour guide was awesome. Her English was excellent and she did a great job of explaining the sites and meeting locations. The shrines and temples were very interesting and lunch was very good. The highlights for me were the Sky Tree Tower and cruise.

Itinerary

Make your way to the centrally located meeting point in Tokyo’s Shinjuku neighborhood and jump on board your comfortable coach for a full day of exploring the Japanese capital.

After a visit to the Meiji Jingu shrine, arrive at the Imperial Palace, the current residence of the Imperial family, where you’ll visit either the East Garden or the Niju-bashi Bridge in the Outer Garden. Next is Senso-ji temple in Asakusa where you’ll have time to shop for souvenirs on Nakamise Avenue before enjoying a matcha-tasting experience and Japanese-style lunch.

Next up is the soaring Tokyo SkyTree where you’ll skip the line for the Tembo Deck observatory, which offers stunning city views. Then it’s on to the Odaiba district where you’ll take a ferry ride across Tokyo Bay and under Rainbow Bridge.

Make use of the free Wi-Fi on the coach ride to Shinjuku Station where you’ll be dropped off.

Main Meals: A set meal with Japanese fried chicken and Tofu. No pork, no seafood but please note that Miso soup contains fish stock. No nuts, no crustaceans but anyone who has a serious allergy, please book the tour without lunch.
Gluten-free Meals: A meal with grilled chicken, rice, miso soup and tofu.
Muslim-friendly meals, Allergy-friendly meals, lactose-free meals, etc. are not available. Please book the tour without lunch.
Customers who need each options will be charged more for changes on the day, therefore please select with lunch option in advance
Sometimes cruise can be suspended due to high tide or techinical maintenance. In that case, we visit alternative place (Hamarikyu-Garden or Fukagawa museum) so we do not visit Odaiba.Refund will not be given for this case.
Please let us know your booking numbers and total number of people before the tour if you have several bookings or if you have booked separatly.
Due to the weather conditions, traffic conditions, or suspension of operation, we may have a possibility not to achieve all the activities. The tour will be attending to alternative place or giving ou t a gift as a compensation depending on a situation at that time. Refunds will not be given for these changes.
If you are late for the tour start time, you will not be able to join the tour mid-way.
Please handle the loading and unloading of your luggage from the trunk yourself. (Including wheelchairs, stroller etc..)
Matcha store will be closed on May 14th, so we will be giving out matcha souvenirs as Matcha experience.

This was a great, comprehensive experience, and out guide Liu was incredibly knowledgeable! She was able to keep track and convey information to our very large group, and even when we reached a hiccup in the Sky Tree (elevators were down and we got stuck!) she made sure that she was handling our issue without compromising everyone else's experience. That said may be helpful not to have the boat ride after the Sky Tree. From what I understand this wasn't the first time people have encountered problems getting down from there! (Wouldn't have minded if the boat ride was cut out completely honestly)

Convenient Tokyo Bus Tour

This Tokyo bus tour was a great way to see the city’s must-visit sights in just one day. The bus made it very convenient by bringing us from one place to another without the hassle of long walks or complicated commuting. Everything went smoothly, and the guides were informative and knowledgeable. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend traveling in June as the weather can be quite hot.

This is the end of our Japan trip so we might just be a bit tired of long tours. I think this tour was excellent, but it was a long day. Just be prepared. We saw a lot of things that we wouldn’t have seen easily on our own, so I really appreciate that. The Bay cruise was a lovely way to end the day.

A full day that visited many famous locations whilst allowing sufficient time at each. Never felt rushed. Our guide, Sora, really made the day as she funny, very knowlgeable and always ready to answer questions and provide assistance. She was very organised meaning everybody knew what was happening, and where and when to meet. Coach was very clean and the driver was excellent.

Good 1 day overview of Central Tokyo

Is a good way to get a little overview of Central Tokyo in just one day. Had a nice variety of stops along with drive by of various districts. Enjoyed the Matcha gelato and the Japanese fried chicken for lunch. The day was a nice combination of bus ride and walking to see certain sites. Was somewhat disappointed of the views from the sky tree observation deck. Our day was very cloudy and hazy, so mint you could not see far distances like Mount Fuji. Our guide Liu was excellent. She spoke very good English and was very informative about the areas we passed by and at each stop. Really tried to be accommodating to all of the guests.

Tokyo City Tour

This tour was a fully comprehensive highlight of Tokyo that covered so many different aspects of the city. Our professional tour guide (Sora) was very knowledgeable of all of the points of interest that we explored. This tour was more than 10 hours in duration and had a very convenient pickup location to our hotel. I would highly recommend this tour.

Enjoyable Bus Tour!

This is a fabulous way to do long distance in one day! The tour was fun and informative. Comfortable coach with good aircon. Polite, caring, funny guide. Equal time on bus and walking. A bit of waiting around at Skytree and the Ferry. Lunch was very good, but you have to get on with your other tourmates, as you are lumped together if you are couples. This also made it difficult to get to the self serve parts of the meal, drinks rice, miso soup, soy and mayo- self service not mentioned when booking. Too many people in a small space and then another tour arrived! It was all tasty though. Also, strange to have the matcha icecream/ drink half an hour before lunch. In my opinion, this could be done after lunch. It is a long day, so splitting up food/ beverage woukd make sense. Plenty of restroom availability throughout! Perhaps some more history of Tokyo would be good on the longer stretches in the coach. Also, offering bottled water would be welcoming! 5 stars because we would never be able to get to all these attractions in one day. Also, you see so much more on a coach, you woukd miss riding the metro!

It would be impossible to “see” Tokyo in a single day but this tour certainly made the attempt. It was a long day of touring but I feel we covered a lot of ground with knowledgeable guide Hiro who strove to explain things and more importantly managed his group well. There were visits to shrines, temples, the imperial palace gardens, and the tokyo tour. THere was lunch (included) and lots of free time. We had great weather for this tour and were fully satisfied that we saw a great deal given tour length.

Very comprehensive tour

Very comprehensive tour of Tokyo. Our guide, Hiro, was amazing! He was very knowledgeable, fun and personable. Lunch was delicious—a true Japanese meal. Our driver, Miyasan, was so polite and courteous. We had a couple of people on our tour with mobility issues, and he always made sure to get their rolling walkers from under the bus for them and ready to go at each stop. Both men were so patient and helpful. Hiro went above and beyond, answering questions that weren’t even directly associated with our tour. We asked him a question about the subway system and the Suica card use. He pulled out his phone, opened an App, and mapped out our entire journey for us for later that evening! Unbelievable! So helpful and kind! It was a long day—about 10 hours—but so worth it!

Best on a Clear Weather Day

Great opportunity to see sites around Tokyo. Best for a good weather day. Our day was heavily overcast in the morning, leading to rain all afternoon. That resulted in getting to the observation deck in the Skytree and being inside a cloud. Nothing to see, no view, except slightly looking down. And our Tokyo Bay cruise (actually just a 15 minute ride across a part of the bay in a Nautilus-like boat) was pouring rain, so once again, no views to speak of and everyone huddled inside the boat; no going out on the rear deck. Finally, lunch. So many good possibilities. But instead we were fed fried chicken. Not tempura. Heavy battered fried chicken, pretty unappetizing.
