If I could give Yuki (Yukino Shiraga) more than five stars, I absolutely would!
Yuki was amazing from beginning to end. She met us right near our Airbnb and immediately made my family and me feel comfortable and welcomed. This was our first full day in Japan, and having Yuki with us made such a difference. Instead of feeling overwhelmed trying to navigate a new country, we were able to relax, explore Tokyo, learn, and truly enjoy the experience.
She took us to so many wonderful places and took the time to share information about Japanese culture, history, traditions, transportation, and everyday life. She was incredibly knowledgeable and professional, but what stood out to me most was how genuinely kind, patient, respectful, and sweet she was.
Throughout the day, Yuki made sure everyone in our family was comfortable and doing well. We never felt rushed. She answered our questions, helped us navigate the city, and took photos of us throughout the day so that we could all be included in our family memories.
She even surprised us with a small bag of Japanese treats, which was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture. After the tour, she sent us the photos she had taken along with the sweetest message wishing my family continued happiness and safety. Those little touches meant so much to me and showed that she genuinely cared about our experience.
What makes Yuki so special is that she never made us feel like we were simply another tour group on her schedule. She made the entire experience feel personal. By the end of the day, it honestly felt like we had spent the day exploring Tokyo with a friend.
Yuki, thank you for giving my family such a beautiful introduction to Japan. 🇯🇵❤️ You helped make our first full day here something we will always remember, and I am so grateful that you were our guide.

It is hard to even know what to say because of how amazing it was. At the start of the day, I felt worried and confused (about being so far from home {and the train system}), but by the end, I feel comfortable about this far land, all because of our tour guide.
Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. As a history buff with the knowledge of an amateur anthropologist, this guide was perfect and he answered my many questions (both about what we were seeing and deeper questions about Japanese culture/society).
The sites seen were also amazing, though one was largely about a television show that I believe is only really known by Japanese audiences (we saw where that show was filmed), but the filming locations were worth it themselves and the added information on the filming only added more interest to the area.
Overall, I greatly enjoyed what I experienced today and would highly recommend it to others.

Our half-day private tour of Tokyo was a fantastic introduction to the city, and our guide, Kenji, made the experience truly memorable.
Kenji's passion for Tokyo was evident from the moment we met him. He genuinely loves sharing the city's history, culture, and hidden gems. He navigated the subway system effortlessly, keeping the conversation engaging instead of making the transportation feel like downtime.
One thing we especially appreciated was how thoughtful he was about photos. Not only did he happily take pictures for us, but he also knew the best angles and timing to help us get great shots without waiting in long lines. He even had photos and videos on his phone that helped bring the history of each location to life and gave us a deeper understanding of what we were seeing.
His guidance through the fish market was invaluable. Knowing which stalls offered the best quality and value saved us time and made the experience much more enjoyable.
We spent four hours exploring with Kenji, and for our family—with a 12- and 10-year-old—that was the perfect amount of time in the summer heat. If you're touring with younger children who aren't especially interested in history, I'd recommend asking your guide to spend a little more time in the shopping and food districts and a little less time at the temples and shrines. The beauty of a private tour is that it can be tailored to your family's interests.

Our tour guide, Masa, was wonderful. The tour was individually crafted to the sites and activities that we wanted to see. We really enjoyed that we used public transportation. He had great insight and was very helpful. I highly recommend.

Ito was a wonderful guide. He was professional, knowledgeable about the history of Japan, and he had a lovely personality. We had a group of 8 people. Ito was patient with our elderly parents and made sure that they were able to enjoy the experience as much as the younger folks. He took us to Senso-ji and the Imperial gardens. He showed us around Asakusa. We had a wonderful time!

We had a 4 hour private tour where Ryoko met us at reception at our hotel and navigated us through the rail system. We were able to tailor our own destinations prior to the tour and take time out for shade and rest. Our first destination was the East Garden of the Imperial Palace. Afterwards, Ryoko gave us some fabulous shopping tips and assisted us back to our local train station where our hotel shuffle bus was parked. We really enjoyed the tour, the flexibility and touring at our own pace. We saw a new side of Tokyo through the eyes of a local and by riding the trains and walking through the streets of Marunouchi and Ginza

We had a 4 hour private tour on our first morning in Tokyo, and it was the perfect introduction to Japan! We had been contacted by our guide Maddie before the tour, and we told her a few of the places we wanted to visit. She helped us navigate the train station and walked us through all the areas we wanted to see, as well as many other stops along the way that we wouldn’t have seen without her. Maddie was very knowledgeable and friendly, and spoke very clear English. She knew exactly which routes to take, and we would have taken at least twice as long if we tried to go to all those areas without her. She was a great guide and we wished we could have taken her along for the rest of our trip!

Mr. Suzuki was very professional and catered to our specific needs. He picked us up right at hotel and took us to all the places we wanted to see. He was very knowledgeable of all the transit systems and the history of the locations. He was very good at comminicating before the tour started!

We had an amazing private tour in Tokyo with our guide, Henso! He met us right at our hotel lobby and made everything incredibly easy from the start.
We took the subway together to explore the city, and honestly, having someone knowledgeable guide us through Tokyo’s transit system made the whole experience stress-free. Henso explained everything along the way and shared so much interesting information about the city and its history.
We visited the beautiful Meiji Jingu Shrine, the Imperial Palace, and the vibrant Asakusa area — each one completely different and worth seeing.
To top it all off, Henso recommended a fantastic local restaurant for lunch that we probably never would have found on our own. Great food, great guide, and a great day exploring Tokyo!

It was an ok experience, guide turned up late and left us about 30mins before he should have therefore we only got around a 3hr tour. It covered only some of the things we had suggested/was on the itinerary. Disappointed.

I would definitely recommend this tour. Our guide Tachi was so helpful in showing us around and answering all our questions. It was a great idea to do this on the first day since we covered most of the popular cultural sights and areas with her leaving the ret of our days for other specific interests.

May was absolutely INCREDIBLE. He helped us cover SO much ground in a short amount of time, was highly educated and generous teaching us about Japanese customs and history, and never made us feel like we were rushing. We were so glad to have had this on our first full day in Tokyo, because he also gave us amazing insider information for how to navigate our way around, where to eat, and what to avoid. He went above and beyond, introducing us to Japanese desserts, giving his contact info should we have questions after our trip, and even left us with a parting gift. We are so thankful and feel so lucky to have had him guide us.

Highly recommend the tour we did in Tokyo with Kaz….his knowledge is fantastic. He took us to the Tokyo Museum where he explained the history of Japanese culture which was extremely interesting and informative. We also enjoyed refreshments at a traditional Japanese tea house and also experienced the underground train system. We also visited the Nezu Shrine and now understand the difference between a Shrine and a Temple. This was the perfect way to commence our holiday in Japan and we would highly recommend the tour and our Guide Kaz. Thank you for making our first day in Tokyo so memorable.

My husband and I had a half-day free in Tokyo and decided to see places not on our tour. We went to Viator and were blessed to have An. We worked out where to go and with her leading were able to handle the metro system and also see some areas we might have missed. We had such a wonderful experience with our guide Mayumi on our 4-hour tour, and I cannot recommend our guide enough. From the very beginning, she was incredibly attentive and professional—she stayed in touch with me through email beforehand, shared helpful information, and made it clear she was ready to assist in any way possible.
She met us right at our hotel, which made everything so easy and comfortable from the start. Throughout the tour, she truly went above and beyond—helping us get our transport cards, showing us how to top them up, and guiding us smoothly through the city.
The tour itself was excellent. She took us to several key places (including three that were free), and even in between stops, she gave us a mini tour of other sights along the way.
