We had such a wonderful morning with Masa! He was extremely organized, patient and accommodating, not to mention knowledgeable and fun. I would highly recommend booking a tour with Masa!

Took us to sites we wanted to see, although he was a nice man his English was subpar and near the end I gave up trying to understand him.

We had a 4 hour private tour where Ryoko met us at reception at our hotel and navigated us through the rail system. We were able to tailor our own destinations prior to the tour and take time out for shade and rest. Our first destination was the East Garden of the Imperial Palace. Afterwards, Ryoko gave us some fabulous shopping tips and assisted us back to our local train station where our hotel shuffle bus was parked. We really enjoyed the tour, the flexibility and touring at our own pace. We saw a new side of Tokyo through the eyes of a local and by riding the trains and walking through the streets of Marunouchi and Ginza

Our Tokyo tour was wonderful. Our guide was very informative and very knowledgeable about Japan. Great info that ranged the fish market to Shibuya and much in between.

Hidecki reached out a couple of days to ask what landmarks we wanted to see, and then came up with a great itinerary. Hidecki was an amazing guide, he was brilliant in imparting the history of the areas. Cannot thank him enough. This was a great way to start our trip.

We had a 4 hour private tour on our first morning in Tokyo, and it was the perfect introduction to Japan! We had been contacted by our guide Maddie before the tour, and we told her a few of the places we wanted to visit. She helped us navigate the train station and walked us through all the areas we wanted to see, as well as many other stops along the way that we wouldn’t have seen without her. Maddie was very knowledgeable and friendly, and spoke very clear English. She knew exactly which routes to take, and we would have taken at least twice as long if we tried to go to all those areas without her. She was a great guide and we wished we could have taken her along for the rest of our trip!

Mr. Suzuki was very professional and catered to our specific needs. He picked us up right at hotel and took us to all the places we wanted to see. He was very knowledgeable of all the transit systems and the history of the locations. He was very good at comminicating before the tour started!

4-hour tour with Shigeru. Outstanding tour guide. Like taking a tour with my uncle. Professional, knowledgeable, and fun. He helped my family understand the historical and cultural aspects of 4 important sites. Shigeru even helped us purchase metro cards and taught us how to navigate the metro strategically! We had an amazing private tour in Tokyo with our guide, Henso! He met us right at our hotel lobby and made everything incredibly easy from the start.
We took the subway together to explore the city, and honestly, having someone knowledgeable guide us through Tokyo’s transit system made the whole experience stress-free. Henso explained everything along the way and shared so much interesting information about the city and its history.
We visited the beautiful Meiji Jingu Shrine, the Imperial Palace, and the vibrant Asakusa area — each one completely different and worth seeing.
To top it all off, Henso recommended a fantastic local restaurant for lunch that we probably never would have found on our own. Great food, great guide, and a great day exploring Tokyo!

It was an ok experience, guide turned up late and left us about 30mins before he should have therefore we only got around a 3hr tour. It covered only some of the things we had suggested/was on the itinerary. Disappointed.

I would definitely recommend this tour. Our guide Tachi was so helpful in showing us around and answering all our questions. It was a great idea to do this on the first day since we covered most of the popular cultural sights and areas with her leaving the ret of our days for other specific interests.

May was absolutely INCREDIBLE. He helped us cover SO much ground in a short amount of time, was highly educated and generous teaching us about Japanese customs and history, and never made us feel like we were rushing. We were so glad to have had this on our first full day in Tokyo, because he also gave us amazing insider information for how to navigate our way around, where to eat, and what to avoid. He went above and beyond, introducing us to Japanese desserts, giving his contact info should we have questions after our trip, and even left us with a parting gift. We are so thankful and feel so lucky to have had him guide us.

Highly recommend the tour we did in Tokyo with Kaz….his knowledge is fantastic. He took us to the Tokyo Museum where he explained the history of Japanese culture which was extremely interesting and informative. We also enjoyed refreshments at a traditional Japanese tea house and also experienced the underground train system. We also visited the Nezu Shrine and now understand the difference between a Shrine and a Temple. This was the perfect way to commence our holiday in Japan and we would highly recommend the tour and our Guide Kaz. Thank you for making our first day in Tokyo so memorable.

My husband and I had a half-day free in Tokyo and decided to see places not on our tour. We went to Viator and were blessed to have An. We worked out where to go and with her leading were able to handle the metro system and also see some areas we might have missed. We had such a wonderful experience with our guide Mayumi on our 4-hour tour, and I cannot recommend our guide enough. From the very beginning, she was incredibly attentive and professional—she stayed in touch with me through email beforehand, shared helpful information, and made it clear she was ready to assist in any way possible.
She met us right at our hotel, which made everything so easy and comfortable from the start. Throughout the tour, she truly went above and beyond—helping us get our transport cards, showing us how to top them up, and guiding us smoothly through the city.
The tour itself was excellent. She took us to several key places (including three that were free), and even in between stops, she gave us a mini tour of other sights along the way. Her knowledge of the city was exceptional—she was incredibly informative, engaging, and made everything feel effortless and enjoyable.
What we especially appreciated was all the extra insight she shared—recommendations for shopping, dining, and things to do—which made the rest of our trip so much easier to plan.

Miho was an amazing tour guide. She was able to give us a history lesson along with seeing the great sights of Japan. We chose 3 locations and she researched them for us. Taking this tour day one of our trip made getting around the subway system so much better as Miho showed us what to do. Old recommend this tour 100%. Ask for Miho!

Excellent tour! Friends had given us a list of best sights to see in Tokyo and I worked with the tour guide, Takako, to see these places. Takako was very well organized and had planned our tour route in advance. She kept us on schedule and told us the history of the places we visited. Definitely a 5-star guide and tour.

The bottom line: if you want a smart, smooth introduction to Tokyo — especially with kids — this is a great choice.
Izumi is deeply knowledgeable, but never overwhelming. He gave us clear, helpful insight into both Japanese history and (critically) how to navigate the subway system — which alone made the rest of our trip easier.
He was also fantastic with our kids — patient, kind, and unhurried. Nothing felt rushed or overly scripted. Just a relaxed, thoughtful walk through the city with someone who really knows it.

We had the best tour of Tokyo with Fummy!! He guided us through the subway and train system and shared history of Japan and the sites we visited. He was polite, professional, upbeat and seemed to show genuine curiosity in our family. We saw more than we expected in a short tour and he went out of his way to take lots of pictures and get us to our next destination. It was a highlight of our trip.

Our guide, Risa, was absolutely amazing! She customized our tour so we got to see our top places. Tokyo is huge, so you can see 3-4 sites on the tour. Risa was so knowledgeable, kind, patient, and willing to answer all of our questions! We did a lot of walking but we were forewarned about it. Would highly recommend!
