Highly recommend the tour we did in Tokyo with Kaz….his knowledge is fantastic. He took us to the Tokyo Museum where he explained the history of Japanese culture which was extremely interesting and informative. We also enjoyed refreshments at a traditional Japanese tea house and also experienced the underground train system. We also visited the Nezu Shrine and now understand the difference between a Shrine and a Temple. This was the perfect way to commence our holiday in Japan and we would highly recommend the tour and our Guide Kaz. Thank you for making our first day in Tokyo so memorable.

My husband and I had a half-day free in Tokyo and decided to see places not on our tour. We went to Viator and were blessed to have An. We worked out where to go and with her leading were able to handle the metro system and also see some areas we might have missed. We cannot thank her enough for her knowledge and making sure we had a wonderful experience.

We had such a wonderful experience with our guide Mayumi on our 4-hour tour, and I cannot recommend our guide enough. From the very beginning, she was incredibly attentive and professional—she stayed in touch with me through email beforehand, shared helpful information, and made it clear she was ready to assist in any way possible.
She met us right at our hotel, which made everything so easy and comfortable from the start. Throughout the tour, she truly went above and beyond—helping us get our transport cards, showing us how to top them up, and guiding us smoothly through the city.
The tour itself was excellent. She took us to several key places (including three that were free), and even in between stops, she gave us a mini tour of other sights along the way. Her knowledge of the city was exceptional—she was incredibly informative, engaging, and made everything feel effortless and enjoyable.
What we especially appreciated was all the extra insight she shared—recommendations for shopping, dining, and things to do—which made the rest of our trip so much easier to plan.

Miho was an amazing tour guide. She was able to give us a history lesson along with seeing the great sights of Japan. We chose 3 locations and she researched them for us. Taking this tour day one of our trip made getting around the subway system so much better as Miho showed us what to do. Old recommend this tour 100%. Ask for Miho!

Excellent tour! Friends had given us a list of best sights to see in Tokyo and I worked with the tour guide, Takako, to see these places. Takako was very well organized and had planned our tour route in advance. She kept us on schedule and told us the history of the places we visited. Definitely a 5-star guide and tour.

The bottom line: if you want a smart, smooth introduction to Tokyo — especially with kids — this is a great choice.
Izumi is deeply knowledgeable, but never overwhelming. He gave us clear, helpful insight into both Japanese history and (critically) how to navigate the subway system — which alone made the rest of our trip easier.
He was also fantastic with our kids — patient, kind, and unhurried. Nothing felt rushed or overly scripted. Just a relaxed, thoughtful walk through the city with someone who really knows it.
Highly recommend.

We had the best tour of Tokyo with Fummy!! He guided us through the subway and train system and shared history of Japan and the sites we visited. He was polite, professional, upbeat and seemed to show genuine curiosity in our family. We saw more than we expected in a short tour and he went out of his way to take lots of pictures and get us to our next destination. It was a highlight of our trip.

Our guide, Risa, was absolutely amazing! She customized our tour so we got to see our top places. Tokyo is huge, so you can see 3-4 sites on the tour. Risa was so knowledgeable, kind, patient, and willing to answer all of our questions! We did a lot of walking but we were forewarned about it. Would highly recommend!

Our wonderful guide, Takako, contacted us ahead of our trip to learn about our interests, and on the day of the tour, she met us at our hotel with a tailor-made, hand-annotated plan for the morning.
We started at the beautiful Hamarikyu-Onshi Park, where we saw cherry blossoms and ancient pine trees. From there, we took the subway to Tsukiji Market — a sensory overload in the best way, with fresh seafood and vegetables and many food stalls with vendors who’ve worked the same stalls for decades. After another short subway ride, we arrived at Zojoji Temple, where we had a great view of Tokyo Tower. Last stop was Edo Castle garden, wandering the old stone moats and castle ruins. We finished back at the Tsukiji Market were we had the freshest Sushi lunch.
The private tour with Takako was perfect. We stopped when we wanted, wandered when we were curious, tried foods from the food stalls, bought souvenirs, and never felt rushed. And we learned a lot from Takako, like how to get around the city, helpful phrases, and Japanese customs. If you’re visiting Tokyo, book this before you book anything else.

Our half day private tour with a Government Licenced guide was absolutely brilliant. Miho checked our ideas before the tour and created an itinerary to fit. Miho then adapted this tour as we went to match our needs. We saw a multitude of beautiful Cherry Blossons on the last half day in Japan. Miho helped us achieve our desire to see as many incredible Cherry Blossoms as was possible. She helped us at the end of the tour navigate our way back to our hotel with clear and decise directions on the public transport system. We thoroughly recommend this tour and Miho Ozawa as a guide.

Toru was an excellent tour guide. He was proactive in communicating with us in advance regarding our interests and designed a fitting itinerary. As a local, he learned the day before our tour that the Emperial Palace was open so he arranged for us to visit! This is extremely rare and unique as it is usually only open for the Emperor's birthday and new years day, and is over crowded. We were able to tour without a very long wait. Toru helped us to understand and easily independently navigate public transportation for our trip. We toured gardens at the beginning of cherry blossom season, observed a Buddhist ceremony, sampled sake and traditional appetizers, and enjoyed a popular local tempura meal together. Toru gave us suggestions and shared locations for places to visit later in our trip. I would highly recommend Toru!

Worth it for the friendly, customizable experience. Highly recommend for first timers and first day in Tokyo. So. nice that the guide met us at our hotel. It was a 4-hour tour and from your hotel in Shibuya, we visited Meiji Jingu Shrine, Imperial Palace East Garden, and Asakusa (viewed Tokyo Skytree and visited Senso-ji Temple), then ended the tour in Asakusa. It was a busy tour but we covered all the three main spots in Tokyo. Please enjoy Japan and come again in different seasons, as we have many attractions in each season!
