This tour is amazing and Lance was such a great guide. my mother is handicapped and Lance researched the best ways to use the train stations always found us an elevator or ramp. He knew so much about the Japanese culture and history. His English was very strong and easily understood. The temples and markets were beautiful. Two things that really made Lance stand out as a great guide was when we went to the offering area at one of the temples Lance didn't want us to miss out because we didn't have a coin so he provided on for each of us. The second thing was I asked a question that he wasn't sure the answer to, but after the tour I was surprised to see a message from Lance answering my question. He did not gain anything from this I had already paid and tipped him it really just reflected how amazing and dedicated to his job Lance was.thank you Lance for making our tour of Japan so special.

We had a 6 hour private tour of Tokyo with our guide Fummy, and we had the best day. Fummy tailored the itinerary to what we were most interested in seeing, and planned the whole day for us. We learned so much about Japanese history and culture from him in between our stops while riding the subway or train around Tokyo. Fummy was a cheerful and friendly guide to spend the day with and my son and I enjoyed our day with him immensely. It was a fantastic first day in Tokyo for us.

Atsushi-san was an incredibly well-researched and friendly tour guide. His knowledge allowed us to explore and get to the historical significance of the various locations we visited. His explanations were simple but comprehensive. The six hours flew by and included some off-the-beaten opportunities including coffee at a very austere but memorable location near the fish market. I would highly recommend him as well as this tour for anyone with limited time in Tokyo wanting see as much as possible

Haru was an excellent tour guide. He was extremelyknowledgeable and provided a lot of very useful and interesting information during our tour. He communicated with me multiple times via email to design an itinerary that was desired by my family. My family wanted to focus our tour in one particular area and he was able to create a schedule that was very workable.We were not rushed, and he allowed us to explore the areas, but also kept us on the schedule. Lovely experience. My guide was an absolutely adorable lady who managed to fit all the iconic Tokyo spots into my 6‑hour tour without anything feeling rushed. She was knowledgeable, organised, and genuinely kind. Toward the end she even helped me with some shopping, which I really appreciated. A wonderful introduction to Tokyo and a guide I’d happily recommend.

Julie was a great guide, who let us decide which of the many possible Tokyo spots we could include in our itinerary. She led us through the subway and through crowded streets and alleys, and was gracious and knowledgeable. A wonderful way to hit some of the most important Tokyo spots if you have limited time. Hideki san was an amazing guide. He was incredibly knowledgable and easy to understand. While planning our time together he helped me understand the various areas things I wanted to see were in. He designed a great tour for us. We had a delicious fresh seafood lunch, and yummy Japanese treat. He even helped me interpret with shopkeepers and my fortunes from the temples. I cannot recommend him enough!

We very much enjoyed our tour with Izumi. He went out of his way to accommodate us and also provided an overview of the sites we could visit on our own while in Tokyo. Unfortunately, we booked the tour on a day when the Imperial Palace was closed, so instead he took us to Tokyo Tower. It was an unexpected stop and fun place to visit!

We had a great tour of Tokyo with our Guide Mr. Takeshi Yamada. We requested an evening tour of Shinjiku and Shibuya, and wanted to have an authentic Japanese Wagyu dinner. Yamada-San curated a tour that went above and beyond this itinerary. We had a chance to observe the People of Tokyo as they went about their lives, which was fascinating. We took the trains to get from the cruise terminal to our destinations, which was a great experience. The overall experience and dinner were wonderful. It was great to meet and get to know Yamada-San, and we thank him for a great tour!

Hideki was, without question, my favorite guide during my month-long trip in Japan.
He is an amazing, kind, and genuinely thoughtful gentleman. Before guiding, he had a successful career at a major conglomerate in Tokyo, with experience in business development and marketing, and you can immediately tell that he brings a level of professionalism, perspective, and depth that goes far beyond a standard tour.
What makes Hideki special is that he does this because he truly enjoys it. He told me, “You can use ChatGPT to get all the history, but it’s my job to explain what it can’t.” That perfectly sums up the experience. He did not just point things out or recite facts. He added context, judgment, personality, and a real human understanding of Japan that you simply would not get from a guidebook or online search.
The morning of our tour, I told him I wanted to completely change the plan. Not only did he accept it, he took it as a challenge and immediately sprung into action. A few hours later, I was completely off the beaten path in a place that would never show up in travel guides or magazines. We ate locally, and it ended up being the best lunch I had in Tokyo. We walked around, bantered, explored, and had an amazing time.
Being with Hideki felt less like being on a tour and more like spending the day with an old friend or a fun uncle who happens to know Tokyo incredibly well. His knowledge, friendliness, calm demeanor, and willingness to go above and beyond made the day unforgettable.
I could not recommend Hideki more highly. If you book with him, you are lucky to have his time. Treat him well.

Had a great tour with Takako! She reached out before the tour to understand our priorities for the day and customized an itinerary for us.
