We planned our trip with Ted well beforehand. He guided and helped us in our choices to ensure the day would go smoothly, which it did.. We had a great day seeing all the main attractions in Tokyo, we couldn't have covered as much doing it on our own. Ted made very light work of the train and metro system which we were grateful for. He was very knowledgeable, well prepared, punctual and took us to a lovely place for lunch.
We enjoyed his company and he gave us a good overview of Tokyo.

Yuki was an excellent guide. We told her what we wanted to do and she designed a great tour for us. She was flexible and very kind and personable. My partner was having difficulty walking due to a hip injury and she figured out routes that would be easiest for him.

Takeshi did an amazing job helping us plan the itinerary and made some great suggestions. He took us to some out of the way unique places. Kei was an incredible guide! He went above and beyond to make sure we saw as much as we could in our timeframe. His knowledge of Japan, Tokyo, and history was extensive. He gave us great perspective on the country and insight into the culture. This was such a perfect way to see sights that we didn't already have planned and to get to know a local. Would do this again in a heartbeat!

We were so lucky to have Kris-San as our guide for our first full day in Tokyo. He was great about communicating before the trip, and he even left our hotel a beautiful note welcoming us to the city. He met us at our hotel early the day of the tour and showed us how to use the subway. We toured Senso Ji, the Tobacco and Salt Museum, the Honjo Disaster Prevention Center, and the Kiyosumi Gardens. He also recommended a fantastic noodle restaurant close to one of our tour spots where the duck soba noodles were incredible. Kris-San was warm, personable, and funny, it was hard to say goodbye after such a wonderful tour.

I had the most incredible experience exploring Tokyo with Sam as my guide. His knowledge of the city is unmatched, not only did he take me to all the must-see spots, but he expertly navigated around the crowds, which made the entire day feel seamless and enjoyable. He really listened to my itinerary requests and we saw so much in a short time.
What stood out was his deep understanding of Tokyo’s history. Every stop came with meaningful context that brought the city to life in a way I wouldn’t have experienced on my own. That was especially important to me, and Sam delivered far beyond expectations.
He also took the time to teach me how to confidently use Tokyo’s train system, which made the rest of my trip so much easier. It’s one of those things that can feel overwhelming at first, and his guidance made all the difference.

Our guide, Noripy, had all the qualities for a spectacular day in Tokyo. She had an in-depth knowledge of history but not overwhelming. She enhanced what we saw from facts on architecture to culture to history to flora. The pace was perky with a short stop for a picnic ( our choice). Very kind and smart woman. Shuji was a great tour guide for our second day in Tokyo. Since it was pouring rain in the morning we went to the Tokyo museum and he guided us through. He was able to adjust the itinerary based on weather. He provided a lot of cultural information! Highly recommend.

We had one full day in Tokyo before joining our cruise tomorrow. We therefore wanted to see as much as possible in that small window. We could not have wished for more from our guide Yusuke. He sent me an email six months ago, within a couple of days of booking, to ascertain our wishes for the tour. He was able to piece together a tour which was perfect for us. It did involve lots of walking but he was very keen to establish from the outset our level of fitness. Obviously you can’t see all the sites of Tokyo in one day but we got a real sense of the place visiting Imperial Palace and Shinto shrine but also experiencing local market area in Ueno, old style street with Izakaya around Shinjuku and the shimbuka scramble and dog statue. Best of all however was to spend six hours with a local. We saw the sights but more importantly obtained a first hand insight into Japanese culture and history. Arigato gozaimasu Yusuke

Our tour guide Sam contacted us prior to our tour to ask us what we wanted to see. He tailored our tour based on that. He also extended our tour to make sure we were able to get back to our hotel. Would highly recommend him!

There is a lot of walking, but it is well worth it to experience as much as possible in six hours, our tour guide Fummy was a great guide he had printed information about Japan and its culture which he used during the time travelling on the subway, at the end of the tour we had so much information about the sites we visited and Japan in general.

This was the first thing we did in Japan, it was perfect! Our tour guide, Masa, was very knowledgeable and helpful. He came up with a great itenerary and guided us through some cultural experiences. He was kind and easy to talk to, and even helped us find a game store that he had previously not heard of. It felt like he took care and time to research so that our experience would be the best it could be.

Shigeru was an amazing tour guide and went out of his way to make sure my friend and I had a good trip. He let us delay our tour start an hour to accommodate for some travel delays I had, and even volunteered to stick with us after the tour ended to make sure we knew how to get back to our hotel safely. He knew where all the best spots to take photos were and took us to a non-touristy lunch spot that had amazing food and I never would have found on my own. He also took the time we spent on the trains to teach us about Japanese culture, welcoming us to participate where we felt comfortable and also giving us the opportunity to just witness if we preferred.
Overall it was a great day and would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a guide around the city, especially if it's your first time. If you can, request for Shigeru by name!
