This experience was so much fun. We met up in shibuya and then we were introduced to our driver. Thank you so much @2mentokyo for making this a fun and smooth experience for us, he explained everything and even helped us get the best photos and videos. It was so much fun driving around and seeing the sights and also being around other cars from his group! The car meet was amazing and there were so many cool cars to see. What an incredible experience my wife and I had with Aissam. A real Tokyo fast and furious drive in the streets of Tokyo by night. Very experienced drivers that made us feel the adrenaline and rush but also a knowledge of the car culture the in Japan, the lifestyle and the history. We got to go to 2 car meets and stop by the famous Tokyo tower and Shibuya crossing. I highly recommend booking with Aissam (who also speaks French English Spanish and Arabic !!!)

DO NOT BOOK THIS “EVENT”. Complete scam and false advertisement. This is a tourist trap! I would like a full refund due to my experience; The vehicles that are advertised are not what you get. It’s sad because the gentleman was kind and tried his best but, he knew it was a lie: I spoke with others at a location and they booked through Get Your Guide. They were in actual GTRs and had multiple vehicle options with amazing features. Our vehicle was busted, doors did not shut properly, no neon lights, they radio was staticky and the locations he took us to were completely empty and creepy.
SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AND DO SOMETHING ELSE. I gave one star because he was a nice guy but, the company set him up for failure.

We need to clarify a few important points regarding your experience. Our tours visit some of the top locations in the world for car culture, including renowned parking areas that are global hubs for enthusiasts. However, we do not control external factors like weather or traffic. On the day of your tour, the heavy rain made the area unusually quiet, which is unfortunately out of our hands.
Regarding the vehicles, we never advertise or guarantee a specific car, such as a GTR. JDM cars are enthusiast vehicles with unique character; minor wear is common and does not reflect a lack of safety or quality.
Calling our service a "scam" after receiving a full refund is inaccurate and intentionally damaging. These false claims misrepresent our business and fall under defamation. We take pride in providing authentic experiences and worked to resolve your concerns immediately via the refund.

The experience was absolutely amazing. We spent four incredible hours exploring neon-lit Tokyo in a modified JDM car, and every moment felt special. The itinerary included a visit to A1 Autobacs, followed by stops at Daikoku Parking Area and Tokyo Tower. Each location offered a unique chance to see a wide variety of iconic JDM cars up close, and we were even able to take photos with them.
A big shoutout to Mhel, who took us around in his stunning Toyota Supra, making the ride itself unforgettable. Special thanks as well to Aissam(the organizer), who kindly dropped us back at our hotel in his impressive Mitsubishi Evo.
Overall, the experience exceeded our expectations and is a must-do in Tokyo for anyone passionate about cars. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip.

Unfortunately the first 3 hours rained so our experience was dampened by this. Our driver was awesome & very accomodating, his car was cool & once the rain cleared we enjoyed the car ride through shibuya crossing & visiting Tokyo tower. Seeing the city cites lit up once it stopped raining was pretty exciting. It did go overtime (possibly due to traffic congestion) & that wasn’t a problem for our great driver. Everyone involved spoke English & were very polite. Dropped back to our apartment which was handy. Thank you

We had a great experience with my partner! Our guide was super courteous and friendly from his initial mails, all the way up to the Parking Area .. explaining about the car culture in Japan and even other aspects of the country. The car meeting itself was dope! Lots of nice cars and we even got see a 'parade' of those cool cars going out because they heard sirens 😂.

We booked a tour scheduled for 6:00 PM, and the listing clearly stated that hotel pickup and drop-off were included, which is why we planned our arrival accordingly. We even notified the vendor in advance that we’d be arriving around 4:00 PM and heading to our hotel before the tour.
At that point, the vendor told us it was “too last-minute” for pickup—despite that being part of the listing.
Then things got worse. He suddenly required us to meet at 5:00 PM, which is a full hour earlier than the confirmed start time. We explained we would try but could not guarantee that earlier time. Later, when we confirmed we couldn’t make 5:00 PM, he said the latest he would wait was 5:40 PM and refused to meet at the original 6:00 PM time, calling it a “waste of time.”
Let that sink in—the tour was booked for 6:00 PM, and the vendor refused to honor that time.
On top of that:
* He tried to charge ¥22,000 extra just to reschedule
* Attempted to move communication off-platform (texting instead of using Viator)
* Later claimed he waited until 6:00 PM, which was simply not true
We have all messages to back this up.
We were ready to arrive at the agreed 6:00 PM start time, but the vendor created new conditions that made it impossible to participate unless we paid more or adjusted to an earlier time last minute.
This experience felt disorganized at best and dishonest at worst. If you’re booking this tour, be cautious—the actual expectations may not match what’s advertised, and you may be pressured into additional charges.
Would not recommend.

Regarding hotel pickup: Our listing includes drop-off to your accommodation at the end of the tour — not pickup from your hotel to the meeting point. This is standard for group departure experiences and was clarified when you requested it.
Regarding the 6:00 PM start time: Our operational departure is 5:00 PM, which was communicated to all guests via the Viator platform in advance. This is necessary because Daikoku Parking — the first stop on this tour — closes at 7:00 PM. A 6:00 PM departure would leave less than one hour at the main venue, which would not be a worthwhile experience for our guests.
Regarding our efforts to accommodate you: When you informed us your flight was delayed, we immediately offered two alternatives at no extra charge — a same-day Midnight Run or a full reschedule to the following day. Both were declined. A rescheduling fee was only discussed when you later requested a brand new booking on a subsequent day, at which point we had already paid for a dedicated vehicle and driver during peak season.
Regarding our departure time: We remained at the pickup point and departed at 6:10 PM — ten minutes after the listed tour time. Our full conversation, including timestamps, has been submitted to Viator support.
We sincerely wish your trip to Tokyo had gone differently and are sorry this experience did not meet your expectations. We pride ourselves on going above and beyond for our guests, and we hope this record reflects the effort we made to find a solution for you.

Looking for something fun and different to do at night in Tokyo we decided to book this tour with Sam and it did not disappoint. Our driver was knowledgeable and part of the car scene in Tokyo. The tour was paced just right and 4 hours flew by. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for a fun night and a lover of cars and racing. The car store was massive and you can pick up some phenomenal souviners there. The most unique souviner store in Tokyo from shirts, books, hats air freshness for your car, etc. The store is packed with goodies.

Rimi Kaneko and her boyfriend Lucas made our time so fun and an unforgettable experience! Rimi was our driver and it was so fun to have an all girls car! Tsuru was an amazing guide and driver! We had the best experience and would 100% recommend. My wife and I did the JDM Experience tour while visiting Tokyo and it was easily one of the coolest things we’ve done on this trip. If you’re even remotely into cars, this is something you have to do.
From the moment we arrived, the team made everything super easy and welcoming. The cars were incredible, and being able to drive through Tokyo at night in such iconic machines was unreal. Cruising through the city lights and experiencing the car culture here firsthand felt like something out of a movie.
What made it even better was how organized and professional the whole operation was. The guide was knowledgeable, passionate about the cars, and made sure everyone had a great time while still keeping everything safe and smooth.
For my wife and me, it turned into one of those travel memories we’ll talk about for years. Tokyo already feels electric at night, but seeing it through the lens of JDM car culture takes it to another level.
Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Tokyo who loves cars or just wants a unique way to see the city. Absolutely worth it.

We went on the JDM Experience on January 31, 2026, and the experience is worth your while. We got Sam as our Driver and he was amazing. He made us laugh and told us a lot of the history behind all the car/ street racing. We went to the car meets, Tokyo Tower, and Shibuya crossing. We were able to take a lot of pictures, and we were able to go freely and see all the cars by ourselves, so you get the full experience when you book with them. They take you to stores where you're able to see all the car parts and purchase cool souvenirs. The experience was amazing. I would recommend it especially if you're into a car, or if you want to surprise your partner. The best part is that they take you home/ hotel after the experience. This was spectacular especially for us since we struggle with the train system as tourists. We want to thank Sam once again for everything and may God bless him and his family. Thank you, Sam.

Sam was our tour guide and he was very helpful and easy to communicate with (it was helpful that he spoke English). Our tour started an hour earlier since the meet was getting shut down earlier so he was very accommodating to us and was making sure we got the most of our tour. I’m not a car person myself but I enjoyed the car meet!! My boyfriend, who is a car person, loved the car tour so this a must do for car peeps.
