Get close to elephants

The staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was to much trouble. From the very start we saw a group of elephants with a baby. The elephants pretty much ingored us and carried on eating and drinking. We got some lovely pictures. The guide was excellent at spotting other animals from the jeep. Overall a very good memorable day out.

It was an excellent introduction to this beautiful city, our driver / guide Maline DeSilva was brilliant, spoke excellent English, had very good knowledge of history and tradition. Full day safari

Yesterday we had a full-day safari with Ish. He picked us up from our apartment in the morning, and from there we drove to the safari. We chose to focus on spotting leopards for the first two hours, which allowed us to see them multiple times. After that, we saw many other animals. During the safari, we were served a typical Sri Lankan breakfast and lunch, which were very tasty! Definitely recommended.

Amazing safari with Jayashan

Me and my partner did the half day safari in the afternoon and had the best experience possible. We saw around 20-30 elephants, crocodiles, buffalo, a ton of birds and some amazing plants. Our driver Jayashan was amazing at spotting the animals and knew so much! I would definitely recommend both the trip and especially Jayashan. Book this trip - you will not be disappointed.

This was an incredible tour! We felt like it covered all the major highlights and we didn’t feel rushed. Our tour guide Krish was lovely and gave us heaps of good tips along the way too - really friendly guy and safe driver! He spoke really good English so that helped too. The hotels we stayed at were comfortable 3&4 star hotels which was great and in good locations. The places that Krish took us for lunch were all really good places with good food. I especially liked the safari in Udawallawe and the village tour we did at Sigiriya - as part of the village tour we got to have lunch made by the villagers and that was an absolute highlight and really recommend everyone to do the Sigiriya Village tour lunch (I think this was with ‘A+ Tours’). Krish was also able to customise the trip on the spot based on our preferences and even stopped at additional places (like for us to get durian haha). Overall great trip and would highly recommend!

Amazing Wilpattu Safari – Highly Recommended!

We had an incredible experience on our Wilpattu safari from Negombo. Our guide was exceptional – knowledgeable, friendly, and really made the wildlife experience come alive. The day was long, starting with a 4 AM hotel pickup and returning around 7 PM, but it was absolutely worth it. The drive from Negombo to Wilpattu took over 3 hours, and our driver was excellent – safe, smooth, and very accommodating. The highlight? Spotting not one, but two leopards in the wild! The park itself is stunning and less crowded than other national parks, which made the experience feel truly special. If you’re considering a safari from Negombo, this is the one to do. Incredible wildlife, a fantastic guide, and a memorable adventure from start to finish.

Great service with Romesh as driver

We travelled around Sri Lanka for just over a week with Romesh, and we’re extremely happy with the service he provided. He was consistently on time, organised, and got us to each destination (Kandy, Yala, Galle and Colombo) smoothly, often earlier than we expected, which made the days feel relaxed rather than rushed. When we adjusted plans along the way, he handled it easily and without any fuss. He also had great local knowledge and recommended several excellent places to eat that turned out to be some of our favourite eats of the trip. Throughout the journey he was friendly, calm, and professional, and struck a good balance between being helpful and giving us space. Day trip from Colombo to Sigiriya

This turned out, after starting pretty nonchalantly, to be a most amazing and epic journey. The high point was our jeep safari in Hurulu, where we encountered a small elephant herd, with a tusker at very close range. The drive-thru through the thickets was amazingly panoramic, and indeed, most adventurous. Then, we visited Dumballa - the rock-cut cave architecture and the Sigirya Rock Fortress are singular attractions par excellence. Amazing, one-of-a-kind sites to visit.
