I had a wonderful safari experience at Yala Park. Our driver, Ishan, was extremely polite, patient, and very knowledgeable, always explaining everything calmly and in detail. He was also very friendly, professional, and perfectly on time. The meals provided were delicious, and we were lucky enough to see almost all the animals we hoped for, except the bear. We even managed to spot the Sri Lankan leopard, although only from a distance and for less than 10 seconds – but I understand that’s part of the natural experience. Overall, it was a fantastic trip and I truly enjoyed every moment.

The guide was really good, he brought us on different and less crowded roads. We could see many animals and always in a responsible way.
Also, the breakfast was really good, sweet, savoury and fruits.
We haven't been lucky and we couldn't see the leopard but we saw a lot of elephants, even babies, buffalo, crocodile, many colorful birds and other animals.

An incredible safari seeing deer, lizards, birds, water buffalos, crocodiles, monkeys, elephants, and even leopards! The driver Dilanka was very helpful and patient. The provided breakfast and lunch were delicious and the pickup was on time. Couldn't have asked for a better trip!

Amazing safari with Dilanka! His knowledge of the park and sharp eye helped us spot both a sloth bear and a leopard. He really knows where to go and made the whole experience unforgettable. Highly recommend!

It was an amazing experience with a very friendly driver. We saw incredible wildlife — including two leopards! It was so cool that the driver was just as excited as we were. We also enjoyed a delicious homemade lunch in a truly beautiful spot for a rest.

I had a great safari with our driver Dilanka who was very patient and didn't hesitate to stop for some time, hoping to see a leopard (it was actually quite soothing, listening to the bird songs only). We were so lucky since the first animal we stopped for was a sloth bear and we spent more than 15 minutes observing a leopard drinking! We had a well-deserved break with lovely food as a group and even took some photos altogether in the Jeep. In total, we stayed 5 hours in the park with plenty to see!

Experience wasn’t that great, in the site, it was mentioned that it would be a 5 hours safari starting at 2PM. But the safari lasted only for 2.30 hours and upon inquiry, I was told that only the morning safari’s are for 5 hours. Spotting was moderate with no luck for leopards, pickup and drop only happens from TissaMaharama area which is almost 40 km from the main safari entrance. People staying in other parts and availing this safari, need to come down here in order to be picked up.

The time I gave you was at 1.30pm) but you reached Tissamaharama at 2.pm) That is why you could not join the 5 hour safari tour. If you had come at this time 1.30pm, you can join the 5 hour safari tour. Also, we only take peoples from around Tissamaharama areas for the safari tour. We have recorded all that information on (viator) so you can check all that before making the reservation. Also, you have noted that you had difficulty in seeing a leopard. Actually, the difficulty in seeing a leopard is not the problem of our drivers because Yala National Park is a forest park that is integrated with nature and in some cases, you can see the leopard very quickly. But I think you had a great safari because you saw the bear and the elephants in the black and white, which are very difficult animals to see. Thank you very much for joining us on the safari.🙏🙏

Communication via WhatsApp went well. Pick up was right on time. The driver spoke reasonable English, he must have good connections since we saw the all, bear, Elephant, leopard, crocodile tons of birds, deer and water buffalo. It was truly a amazing experience .

We had a brilliant time. Dilanka was an excellent guide and tried super hard to track leopards. We didn't see any but that's nature. We saw lots of other wonderful animals including 3 baby elephants

Very flexible and quick to deal with (e.g. regarding the pick-up location). We went on a full-day safari with my family, so there was plenty of time to look for different animals. We were lucky to spot a leopard at the beginning, but each of the many species of animals in Yala is worth seeing. The driver tried to make sure we didn't miss anything.

Alles goed geregeld, vriendelijke gids. Ik had verteld dat ik het allerliefst een luipaard zou spotten, en ondanks dat hij aan had gegeven dat die kans erg klein was (vanwege regen) deed hij zijn uiterste best om er toch één te vinden. Helaas niet gespot uiteindelijk, maar aan de effort lag het niet ☺️
