The driver accompanying us was very helpful but of course he was lacking in providing information about the places. Other than that, it was a very enjoyable tour.

The driver was punctual and friendly, drove safely and the vehicle was clean.
I would call this more of a taxi service than a tour. You get a driver to the main sights and then when you get there you are left to yourself or directed to buy another tour guide service. This is fine as long as long as this is what you expect.
The main sites were great to see, and good to do it in a day because it is a long way from Kandy.
Our driver did also try to take us to wood carving shop and some other tour experience at extra cost which we weren’t interested in. Those extras may have been perfectly good (but would have made the overall day too long for us) but It would be better if they asked if we wanted this at the start of the day, rather than just arrive at these places only for the awkwardness for everyone of being told we weren’t interested.
Overall as a taxi service it is 4 stars out of 5, but as it was sold as a ‘tour’ it is 3 stars out of 5.

However, we would like to clarify that our tours are designed to provide a guided experience, with clear details mentioned before booking—including that our chauffeur-guide will guide you throughout the tour but not inside UNESCO World Heritage sites, and that entry tickets are not included.
In this case, you chose to skip most of the key sites, which naturally impacted the overall tour experience. As these locations charge entry fees to support their maintenance and contribute to the country’s economy, visiting them is an essential part of the tour. Additionally, our chauffeur-guide, Muzni, even suggested alternative activities with lower entry fees to better suit your budget, but these were also declined—even when your family expressed interest.
Ultimately, the tour became more of a taxi service based on your personal choices. However, our priority remains ensuring safe and comfortable travel for our guests. We appreciate your input and hope to welcome you again for a more immersive experience in the future.

Fantastic trip to Sigiriya and Dambulla, such beautiful and inspiring places!
Great communication from our driver Irfan and the company before and during the trip, which was really helpful and allowed us some freedom. Irfan even dropped us off in the town centre at our request, being flexible throughout the day to our needs and interests.

We had a fantastic trip to Sigiriya (Pidurangala rock) and the Dambulla cave. Our guide, Ilham, was extremely kind and knowledgeable about Sri Lanka. He was very flexible, punctual and accomodating - he took up our additional requests without qualms and gave us extra suggestions about where to visit after the main tourist spots. He also brought us to an affordable and authentic Sri Lankan restaurant and treated us to some juicy fruits at the end. My partner and I had a wonderful experience together! :)

Great trip out. The company allowed us to change pick up times and the day programme to suit ourselves. The temples were lovely and our driver was great too. He explained the culture, religion and foods of Sri Lanka and found us a great local restaurant for lunch .
I'd highly recommend this trip although it is a long way from Kandy

Good way to get to Sigiriya plus see the Cave Temple. It would be good if the taxi driver did not need reminding to stick to the plan. No! we did not want a spice tour but he pulled in and did some kind of errand holding up our day, no we do not want to drink from a coconut on side of road and we are capable of choosing our own restaurant and preferred not to wait while you wandered off to get a coffee with your mate. It is a long day there and back
It would be safer if these drivers did not txt and take constant mobile phone calls while driving.

This was a solo trip. Everything went smoothly. Irfan made a huge effort to find out exactly what I wanted to make the trip enjoyable, gave good advice, helped with buying tickets and suchlike, made excellent suggestions (like sampling the different varieties of local banana), and was constantly thinking of ways to make his customer’s experience better. But he was also very happy to take no for an answer. Would highly recommend, particularly if you value flexibility and the ability to change plans on this sort of one on one trip

Die Tour nach Dambulla und Sigiriya beinhaltet nur den Fahrer (der jeweils im Auto wartet) und keinen Guide oder dergleichen. Dessen muss man sich bei dieser Tour bewusst sein, wir waren es nicht, das ist allerdings nicht die Schuld des Veranstalters. Wir wurden pünktlich abgeholt, die Fahrt war absolut angenehm und die Gesellschaft des Fahrers sehr freundlich. Es wurde auf unsere Wünsche Rücksicht genommen, auf der Rückfahrt an mehreren Stellen anzuhalten, um Fotos zu nehmen. Leider haben wir auch an einem Kräutergarten angehalten, wo wir uns einer "Führung" angeschlossen haben. Leider entpuppte sich das als Verkaufsveranstaltung an deren Ende man genötigt wird, teure Produkte zu erwerben. Da wir uns allerdings selbst dafür entschieden haben, war das unser eigener Fehler, andere Reisende möchte ich nur warnen, einen großen Bogen um Spice Gardens zu machen ;-)
Die beiden Unternehmungen (Höhlentempel und Sigiriya Rock) sind herausragend. Der bzw. die Tempel sind absolut beeindruckend und nie wieder wird man so viele Buddhas an einem Fleck sehen :-) Die Besteigung des Felsen war auch ein Erlebnis für sich, man sollte ein bisschen schwindelfrei sein. Unbedingt ansehen sollte man sich auch das Museum (nur vor dem Aufstieg möglich, da man an anderer Stelle wieder raus kommt hinterher).
Alles in allem hatten wir einen super Tag mit einem super netten Fahrer Mr. Rizwan.
