Small group was well worth it and covered all the necessary spots although not the lake bridge.

The company flexibly arranged a pickup (not drop off) from my hotel which was not within the list of pick up hotels. There was a small additional price to pay but certainly worth it. The guide Dong Huan was very good and was knowledgeable. The company arranged an early start to ensure all points were covered as the entry into DMZ area is limited to 3000 places on a first come first serve basis. There were limitations of entry a few dayss in succession prior to our departure date. Hence they chose to leave early but gave us the choice of not taking the trip or leaving early.

Great way to check out the DMZ

This is a very good way to see one of the most unique parts of Korea. Our tour guide Hana did a great job of leading our group to the various sights and landmarks in the DMZ, giving us helpful information and context to understand what we were seeing and how the situation between the two Koreas developed to where it is now. I'd definitely recommend VIP Travel (and Hana in particular) to anyone visiting Seoul.

We had an amazing day...

We had an amazing day with Hazel, our tour guide. The itinerary was great, it was worth it to spend the whole day and explore major Seoul spots. Very good for day 1/2. Hazel was very kind and knowledgeable, remembering us all by our name, giving us so much useful information and fun facts. if you see her name while booking, know that she is amazing. The temple was one of the most beautiful spots, it's early in the morning and it's the first stop but it's so beautiful, make sure not to miss it!

We had a wonderful all-day private DMZ tour with Joseph and would highly recommend him to anyone visiting Korea. Joseph was kind, personable, and really took the time to get to know our family. He has a great personality and made the whole day feel relaxed and enjoyable. His English was excellent, and he did a fantastic job explaining the history of the DMZ and the relationship between North and South Korea. He gave us just the right amount of background and made everything easy to understand. One of the things we really appreciated was how many pictures and videos he took of our family throughout the day. It was such a nice touch and gave us some great memories without us having to worry about constantly taking photos ourselves. Joseph made the experience feel very personal and never rushed. By the end of the day, it felt like we had spent the day with someone we knew rather than just a tour guide. We are very glad we chose a private DMZ tour, and Joseph made it one of the highlights of our trip to Korea. We would absolutely recommend him to friends and family.

I had a wonderful time...

I had a wonderful time during the tour. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The half day was perfect and allowed for time spent elsewhere before connecting at 1:30. The drop off point is Gwangjang Market and it's just that a drop off. Ok with it, just mentioning it, so there's no expectation of a guided tour around the market.

What an amazing experience and so glad we did this one. AJ was a brilliant guide, engaging, informative and fun. Avoid the weekends if you can as it was very busy which meant more queuing and less free time to look around. It is an idea to take food and/or snacks with you, as the food options are limited and we did not have time to get anything.

Great Tour with Hee Soo

This trip was very well run. We covered a lot of ground with Hee Soo as our guide. She was patient, knowledgeable and helpful. We had a great time with her. The palaces were beautiful and so full of history. I would recommend this tour , especially with Hee Soo. She also kindly helped me find my way to my hotel using the subway. She was very kind.
