Jessie is a great guide but wrap up warm

Wrap up warm!!, around half the visit onsite is outside. There is a café for hot drinks and food but it’s at the beginning and end. No eating/drinking in the camp itself. Our guide Jessie was very knowledgeable and easy to understand, especially with her amplification system. It’s a very sobering experience but something everyone should do. Thank you Jessie 👍🏻❤️

Somber but meaningful

This is an excellent tour if you’d like to learn more about WW2 and the Third Reich. Went to Dachau in the morning and the walking tour in the afternoon. Iain was my guide for both tours and he was great. He’s very informative and explains the historical context so you understand how things led to the rise of the Nazis and the formation of Dachau. It’s definitely not a light hearted experience but it is deeply important and meaningful.
