Great way to spend a day seeing some historic sites

We had a great day seeing and learning about the sites while also enjoying our tour guide Phil and his periodic history bites as we traveled to and from the locations. Even though some of the area traffic appeared chaotic, our driver Vinny did a great job keeping us safe and on schedule. It was a long day but we felt it was definitely worth it. Minimal walking with plenty of rest in between.

Sooo much history in one...

Sooo much history in one place!! You literally could spend all day there learning about the monarchy, soldiers, prisoners, etc. All the artifacts, armor, weapons and especially the valuable Crown Jewels were a particular highlight to the exhibition. A must visit while in London!

Fantastic experience thanks to our engaging guide Andre! He was excellent with sharing his knowledge, sharing warnings prior to looking at any photos, & keeping our group safely on track. My partner, friends, & I all asked questions about the history, theories, etc. to which Andre happily answered. Even after the tour was completed he was more than willing to share his insights which we greatly appreciated. Andre exudes tons of passion & humor throughout the tour and we observed other tours trying to listen in on ours. Thanks Andre for being awesome & making this a great experience!

Brilliant tour, brilliant guide and a few very good drinks! 🍻🎶

Ben was an absolute cracker of a guide. He has a brilliant way of telling stories that draws you straight in. Before you know it, you’re back in old Soho, imagining the characters, the music, the mischief and everything that went on behind those pub doors! Ben also had some great recommendations for beers, ciders and gin, so obviously we had to do our research properly! 😂🍻 There was plenty of time at each pub to enjoy a drink, have a chat and soak up more of the history. We loved listening to Ben’s stories and chatting with the other people on the tour about their travels and experiences. It was informative without being boring, relaxed without feeling rushed and had just the right amount of drinking involved… although I’m sure Ben would call it “historical research” 😂 The tour completely exceeded our expectations. Ben was fantastic, Soho was fascinating and we had a bloody good time! Highly recommended! 🍻🎶🇬🇧

So unique & fun! A great way to see a special part of London.

What a unique, fun experience! Loved doing this tour and I can see why it’s so highly rated. The full group was broken into three smaller groups and each visited 4 different pubs. Our group had 13 people of varying ages & nationalities. The tour guide was Tim and he was a fantastic sport! He shared plenty of great history and tips with us as we visited four distinctly different pubs, each with a great story. We loved talking with the other tour guests and that added an additional layer of enjoyment for us. I would absolutely do this tour again and visit different pubs.

A wonderfully planned...

A wonderfully planned full-day of sightseeing! A walking tour of Oxford gave a glimpse of a vibrant college town, which included a short time for wandering about or shopping. The small Bampton Village stop was picturesque, but was highlighted for Downton Abbey fans, particularly with filming locations observed. And, Highclere Castle offered just the right beauty and experience to end the day. The timing provided was enough, but who would not like to remain a bit longer to soak in the history and charm of such lavish sites.

Fun tour!

Our guide, Murray, was awesome! He was so knowledgeable and you can tell he really enjoys what he does. He gave us some non-HP related fun facts about the city as well. I am not a huge HP fan (booked it mainly for my daughter), but he even kept my interest. I appreciated the videos and photos shown on his iPad to better explain what we were seeing. Would definitely recommend!

A sign from the dead!

Tom was a ton of fun and had great ghost stories! Along the way you hit amazing sites with Easter eggs of history that are very off the beaten path. The icing on the cake for our tour was that a London light drizzle during the unfortunate tale of Margaret Pole produced a rainbow over the Tower of London! (I’m sure ole Maggie was saying hey!!)

Emma was Amazing!

My wife and I booked this tour to see the Christmas lights but also gain some education about the building and history of the city. We’ve been to London almost 10 times but mainly follow our own tours. We were not disappointed! We learned quite a bit about the history, LOVED the lights and appreciated that Emma was able to wave some personal stories into her narrative. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone and will book if we’re back in London for the festive period in the future.
