What are people saying about Lima

What a fun and beautiful way to see the central square!
This was a great tour! Such cool spots, wonderful history, the city lit up at night - made for a great evening. Our guide Paolo was excellent and his historical knowledge was obvious. He was fun and kind and really made the tour memorable. I highly recommend!

Great Way to learn about Peruvian Foods
Valerie was our tour guide. She was professional, but personable. She connected the food experience with culture and history in a creative and fun way. The only thing I’d say is if you do the Viator 7 hour “The Complete Lima Experience: History, Culture and Flavors” tour, some of the experiences are duplicated in the “Lima Ultimate Food” Tour. So, I would do one or the other next time. Both tours were great.

Amazing experience.
Where do I begin, from start to finish this trip was phenomenal. I came to Peru expecting all the good activities to be in Cusco but I was so wrong. Huacachina has to be one of the most magical places I’ve ever been. Make sure to include the sunset experience, it was more than worth the upgrade. The tour guide Marjorie and Alonzo were very nice and helpful at all points. Please note the dune buggy ride is for Adrenaline junkies. I was holding on for dear life at some points.

Fantastic trip around Lima
Great day spent with Giovanna who showed us so many interesting places and imparted so much of her knowledge. Very enjoyable lunch prepared by Haku’s in-house chef. Giovanna was enthusiastic and accommodated our request to see the Paddington Bear statue!

With fantastic beaches to the west, ancient civilizations to the north and south, and rich culture in the city, Lima is anything but one-note. Expert guides can show you everything from the historical center’s grand architecture to the murals and artisan shops of Barranco. If you’re up for an excursion, head to the Huacachina Oasis for sandboarding or a dune buggy ride, or fly over the mysterious Nazca Lines while your guide explains the ancient geoglyphs. Whether you’d like to immerse yourself in the local art scene or taste Peruvian specialties like pisco and ceviche, Lima tours span all interests.
