Take this tour!!! The best
SO GOOD. Paola is the best ever highly highly recommend. This is not just a food tour, it is art culture, food, all of it! The food is also delicious and the tour is structured so well. I learned so much about Peruvian culture and history and felt so engrossed in it. Also an amazing tour in the super cool neighborhood of barranco. This is such a wondering tour I highly recommend.

Fabulous cooking class in Lima
This was a great experience. Chef Marco was fabulous. It was a very hands on cooking class. He made sure everyone took part in the cooking. JJ was the interpreter/helper/historian who made the cooking class entertaining and informative. I highly recommend this cooking class to anyone visiting Lima.

Highly recommend
Highly recommend this trip if you want to explore Miraflores and Barranco. Mostly flat and in dedicated bike lanes. Diego was our leader and he did a great job. We did not make it to the hill that others talk about, but we saw the sunset from the cliffs of Lima and had ice cream in Barranco.

Taste all Lima has to offer!
We had a great experience on this tour with Patricia! My husband has a dairy allergy and she made sure to accommodate it at every stop.
We learned SO much and it was a wonderful way to experience the three top neighborhoods of Lima and ensure we got the full Peruvian cuisine experience.
The tour was very well spread out so that you didn't get too full with all the stops and even included a lovely walk and stop at a local art gallery.
Overall, I highly recommend this tour! It was a highlight of our time in Lima.

This was a great...
This was a great experience. The pickup and drop off was great. We arrived at least 45 minutes before the excursion, unfortunately no details of when we would head to the boat was provided. We saw lots of birds and different kinds, including penguins. The views around the islands are amazing. The water was quite cold, but the wet suits helped. The guide joined us in the water and assisted anyone not as comfortable in the water. The sea lions came close but was never threatening, even with the alpha male in the water. It is a speedboat, but it never moved fast, and there is no shade available.

More than just a food tour - an unforgettable experience
Our experience on the Street Food, Market & Old Eateries Tour in Lima’s Historic Center was absolutely outstanding—and a huge part of that was our guide, David.
From the very start, David brought incredible energy, warmth, and knowledge to the tour. He wasn’t just guiding us from one food stop to the next—he truly brought Lima (and Peru as a whole) to life. We learned so much about the country’s history, the architecture of the historic center, and the culture and daily life of the Peruvian people, all while enjoying amazing food along the way.
Some of our favorite bites were the incredibly fresh Peruvian fruit at the market, the most amazing churros (filled with rich caramel!), and the unforgettable tiger’s milk fish broth—which was unlike anything we’ve ever tried.
One of the highlights was visiting the Central Market, which is somewhere we likely would have never ventured on our own. Having David there made all the difference—he helped us navigate it comfortably, introduced us to vendors, and explained what we were seeing in a way that made it feel authentic rather than overwhelming. Sitting in the middle of the market on a Saturday night in Lima, trying beef heart (it was really good!) is a moment I will never forget.
The food was fantastic, but what made this tour truly special was the depth of the experience. It felt immersive, personal, and thoughtfully curated rather than just a checklist of places to eat.
If you’re considering this tour, do it—and if you’re lucky enough to get David as your guide, you’re in for something really memorable.

This tour was a wonderful...
This tour was a wonderful experience. Alexis was a great guide and host. I was solo and had the class all to myself. Chef Karina was so pleasant to cook with and all the food turned out amazing, especially the lomo saltado! Highly recommend booking with Haku Tours

Hard Hike. Great View.
The altitude was killer! 16,000’! But not to worry. There are several options to get to the top - hike, ATV, motorcycle, or horse. The view is beautiful. Bring a warm jacket, hat and gloves. It is cold and windy at the top.
Also, I must not have read the fine print. This trip included a buffet breakfast AND lunch.
I thought I had signed up for a tour in English. There were 16 people in our group and I was the only non-Spanish speaker! It worked out though because the guide knew enough English to brief me.

Authentic, Local Experience!
We had such a great time on this tour! Arturo, our guide, was friendly, knowledgeable and outgoing. Visiting the largest market in Lima, and eating from the food stands made us feel like locals. Everything was delicious and authentic. Arturo went above and beyond by even texting all of us a list of the different snacks, fruits, drinks and desserts that we tried. Peruvian food is so unique, and this experience was our favorite of the trip so far!

Don’t miss this tour and come HUNGRY!
Our guide, Arthur, was wonderful. The food was plentiful and absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was beautiful - one restaurant was next to the ocean, one restaurant was next to ruins. The other two were lovely as well. The night was topped off with a walk through Barranco with some beautiful murals - we’ve been to a bunch of food tours in different counties and this was the best by far!

Great Tour ! A Must for any Foodie!
A Great tour from start to finish. We loved it and can’t say enough about our tour leader Giovanina. She really was an excellent guide and was full of facts and information during the entire tour. Don’t eat breakfast if you take this tour as the amount of items to try from fruits to full entrees is huge. And Very Good Too! This was the best tour we had on our Lima and Peru trip.

Fun Time Making Chocolate Bars
Our guide, Anna, was really knowledgeable and personable. The activity is in an Inka market and we had 8 people in our group. Loved making our own chocolate bars and we got to mash cacao beans and make 2 drinks to try. It was a fun and simple activity to do but was a ton of fun!

Long celebrated as the food capital of South America, Lima’s cuisine celebrates Peru’s unique geography and biodiversity. There’s no tastier way to explore Peru’s capital than on a Lima food tour, which helps you overcome the language barrier and try lesser-known dishes in hidden corners of the culinary landscape. Gourmet food tours focus on high-end cuisine, while street food and market excursions showcase a more traditional side of Lima’s food. Whichever you sink your teeth into, you’ll leave smiling and satisfied.
