What are people saying about Krakow

Nice day trip
The driver was incredibly helpful. The trip made for a full day of sightseeing. Chocolow was a cute short stop with a great bite of grilled smoked cheese. We did a short stop at an interesting small wooden church outside of Zakopane. The mountains were beautiful and we had time for a nice lunch in the ski village.

Love krakow
There is a lot of walking and steps at salt mines and comfy shoes are a must. Guide we had was amazing and she could answer any questions we had. Auschwitz was very emotive and in our opinion if you’re visiting krakow this trip is a must do trip! Uneven ground so if walking difficulties are something you struggle with just be careful. We visited in October and weather was extremely kind to us. Birkenau is also very emotional and again, if visiting krakow another must do trip. The atrocities should never be forgotten. Kris our bus driver and tour guide was a brilliant knowledgeable man being very passionate!

Adam was a great...
Adam was a great driver/guide - attentive and patient. We chose the option to be picked up at the hotel which was convenient. The Sprinter can was clean and he was an excellent driver. We had a separate guide for the salt mine tour. We descended 53 flights of stairs to the mine. Our guide shared the history of the mine as well as geological facts. we enjoyed the tour. Lots of walking/steps so wear comfortable shoes.

A difficult tour because of the subject, but important for everyone to experience
Visiting a genocide site and the largest grave in the world is not, nor should it be, a fun experience. But this needs to be seen and remembered. The guide did a fantastic job of skillfully guiding the group through what happened, explained how the victims were dehumanized, tortured. And murdered. It is a tough subject. But it is a story that is important and needs ro be remembered.

Well-connected by road and public transport, Krakow is a perfect launch point for discovering other towns and cities in Poland. While you could set out on your own, booking an excursion that takes you around the country will help relieve the stress of planning. Day trips from Krakow include World War II-related sites—such as a former Nazi-operated concentration camp—and a UNESCO World Heritage-listed salt mine. It’s also possible to discover outstanding mountain scenery with a visit to the resort town of Zakopane in the Polish countryside, followed by a soak in the healing waters of a thermal bath complex.
