Highly recommended!!
Highly recommended!!
Good, clear communication received before the trip to explain meeting location and time.
Friendly driver/guide who explained plans for the day.
All tours were well organised and the guides very knowledgeable. Really enjoyed the whole day.

Emotional Tour but very worthwhile to see the Holocaust First Hand
We were picked up at our hotel in a nice air conditioned van, Adam was our driver and was very courteous and a good driver. Travel time was a little over an hour and he made sure to get us in line for the tour. Tour was very well organized and there is a lot of walking and listening. After Auschwitz we were driven to the Birkenau Camp site and that was about a 5 minute drive and again more walking for a tour of that site. Very well organized and orchestrated.. We were then driven back to our hotel.

Brilliant day out at Zapolane
This day trip was wonderful. I loved the little wooden village. Our guide, David was just brilliant, very knowledgeable, a very good driver and gave us plenty of tips for spending our day at zapolane with the cable car etc. We also loved the cheese tasting and vodka experience. He showed us the little chapel and Olympic ski slope.

Enlightening Experience
Tour was very well organized. The bus was nice and everything remained on time. Our guide at Auschwitz was very knowledgeable and it was a very enlightening experience. Of course, this is not a lighthearted excursion but I would recommend this tour to learn more about important history.

Memorable day at two important Polish sites
This was a long day, but worth it to combine both locations. Our driver/guide gave a nice summary as we travelled to each location. Then, an expert guide at each location walked us through the history. The salt mine was an important driver for Poland’s wealth starting in the 1200’s. Auschwitz is known, but is something different when you’re looking at a picture being described and you the background building from the picture directly in front of you.

I really liked the...
I really liked the Zakopane & wooden village part of the tour. I am disabled and the areas were very walkable for me, with a cable car to take if you dont want to actually hike the mountain to the top.
It was very tourist-y curated & crowded. But our tour guide gave us suggestions on what to do and where to go to get the best experiences.
All in all, this tour was really well run, but the experience isnt really for people looking for... authentic Polish experiences. Both Zakopane & the hot springs are designed for tourists.

Concentration camps.
I completely messed up the pickup point this morning. But within minutes of contacting Viator, we still managed to go on our trip. Well done Viator.
The experience was both harrowing, but so very interesting. It’s something I certainly will never forget.
Looking forward to my next 2 trips with Viator.

Incredible tour!!
Absolutely incredible tour from start to finish. The tour guides are insanely knowledgeable and took their time to do the stories justice. Auschwitz was incredibly sad as expected and hard to reflect back on what innocent people had to endure. On a more positive note the salt mine was fantastic and well organised. Couldn’t recommend this tour enough

Unforgettably amazing!
The highlight of our trip to Krakow. Our tour guide Mirek, and driver Lukas were amazing. Communication prior to the trip was fantastic and pick up was on time. We were picked up at half 8, and were back at our hotel by 8pm. It’s a long day, but totally worth it, highly recommend!

Fantastic! Must see whilst in Krakow
Amazing experience from start to finish. Messaged the night before to confirm collection time from Hotel. Arrived a little early. Really friendly, helpful and informative guide. Sent tickets to your phone, making entry to the Salt Mines easy. Managed expectations in relation to how much you would be walking, the length of time it would be, and where you could exit. Arranged to meet again for transport back to hotel. Loved the Salt Mines. Amazing visually and really informative. Great for family, although be prepared to do a lot of walking. My big boys loved it. We dressed for warmth, it was 27degrees outside and it was warm in the Mines. We could have done with lighter clothing. Overall a fab experience. Would definitely recommend

Great tour, would go back
Overall experience was great, bus arrived on time, great communication via WhatsApp and the Viator app. Journey time to Auschwitz was reasonable, was warm early in the morning but bus had a small flow of air con available which took the edge off.
The guides from start to finish were great, very helpful and informative.
The only downside is we felt a little rushed around the first part of the tour, this may have been because the tour guide following behind us was right on our tail every step of the way not giving much time for us tourists to view what was on display. Our guide did cram a lot of information as best as they could given the situation but we would have liked more time to take in everything in the room had to offer.
We will go back but likely on our own to roam the grounds at our own leisure, we weren't aware that we could have gone back later in the afternoon to roam freely as we would have done this so if you are reading this I would recommend getting a mid afternoon tour then after Birkenau 2, get the shuttle bus back to Birkenau 1 to have more time on your own or you could walk back as it's not that far.
Overall, I would recommend the tour.

Stairs were down. Site was beautiful.
The mine was educational, artistic, and beautiful. All but approximately 10 steps were going down. The floors were not slick. However, it definitely is a lot of walking. The guide was very good. It was great getting picked up in front of our hotel. The driver was very nice.

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Well-connected by road and public transport, Krakow is a perfect launch point for discovering other towns and cities in Poland. While you could set out on your own, booking an excursion that takes you around the country will help relieve the stress of planning. Day trips from Krakow include World War II-related sites—such as a former Nazi-operated concentration camp—and a UNESCO World Heritage-listed salt mine. It’s also possible to discover outstanding mountain scenery with a visit to the resort town of Zakopane in the Polish countryside, followed by a soak in the healing waters of a thermal bath complex.
