Our tour guide Milan was awesome. He spoke very good English and was a very kind, nice easy going guy. We came away very happy with our experience and new knowledge about the colosseum. It was a super hot day and he was really mindful of thinking where best to take us knowing where we'd get a breeze/ shade which made it all the more enjoyable!

Enjoyed getting an opportunity to learn more about the area. However this guide was someone difficult to understand at times due to accent. Unfortunate that the guide was unable to go inside the Colosseum.

Colosseum Tour
The Colosseum is a must see and we really enjoyed the full experience of the Roman Forum, Palatine Hill and the Colosseum including the arena floor. Our guide, Eleanor did a fantastic job of explaining the history and stories of Ancient Rome!

Colosseum
It was magnificent to see the Colosseum!
It was a little confusing meeting up with our ticket person and they were quite agitated and rude.

Informative tour
The tour was very informative. The guide, Francesca, was very knowledgeable. She also did her best to keep us in the shade as it was very hot. I was disappointed that the guide couldn't accompany us into the Colosseum because when we went in we saw other groups with their guides. Not sure what the issue was with the Viator tour guides.

One Step Back...Two steps forward.
We were not able to use this particular experience. The Colosseum closed at that time. We were booked with a group called Carpe Diem with a small group. Our tour guide (Sushi) was AMAZING. She was informative and charming and we felt like we got all the best information. We were able to avoid lines and large crowds and we enjoyed every minute.

Don’t miss this tour!
When you’re in Rome, the Colosseum is a must see. I would highly recommend taking this tour and taking advantage of visiting this amazing archaeological site with a knowledgeable guide. The unexpected surprise on this tour was visiting the Palantine Hill, which no one in our group expected to be as amazing and interesting as it was and we’re so glad we got to see it.!

Great Colosseum Tour with Laura!!
Took the Colosseum, Palestine Hill & Forum tour with guide. Our guide was Laura, she was amazing and very knowledgeable about all the little details that most people wouldn’t know. She was patient and did an excellent job of keeping our group together. It was very busy and super crowded, but yet we walked away feeling like we had a very personal experience. Highly recommended for first timers especially.

We walked all around Rome...
We walked all around Rome with our tour guide who shared details of all the historical places we passed. After the Colosseum, we boarded a bus to drive across town to the Vatican tour. The tour guide was knowledgeable and was eager to share information about the sites.
