Had to pay for our tickets twice and at a higher rate

Even though I paid for our tickets in advance of our travel, we had no option but to pay a second time (and for a higher amount) when the driver said he could not access the UPC on my phone with no internet availability, or my ticket reservation number from my receipt. So, I never was able to redeem the original ticket purchase. I would like to request a refund. The first charge was 39.60 EU and the second charge was 60.00 EU. If a refund is not issued for one of the charges, then I would be happy to contact my credit card for a resolution. It would be great to hear from someone at Viator about this. I have copies of the receipts and tickets. The ride itself was fine.

The experience wasn’t great never used the service the bus did not arrive outside the cruise terminal were we expected by the big yellow flag someone from another company said it was over the dual carriage way at another stop so has we crossed the road and the bus ijust departed so waited another hour then gave up but to be fair to Yelliw buses they did refund us so pleased with that

Hard to obtain information re bus. No one seemed to know where it started from. There was no information kiosk or office to get assistance. Several places sold tickets but couldn't help with questions or where to get the bus. The bus doesn't run about every 30 minutes as stated, as we stood an hour awaiting a bus after hopping-off at a stop. Three "Red" buses came by before the "Yellow" bus appeared after an hour wait.

This Hop-on Hop-off experience provided a great overview of part of Lisbon. Because of the width of the streets, the bus is not able to navigate the very narrow streets of old Lisbon. This is best done on foot or by Tuk Tuk. The commentary on the bus was informative and provided interesting information. It was a bit challenging for our taxi driver to find the initial/central starting point as the address/point has changed. There are also more than one route for this company so it's important to find the correct spot for the route purchased. Overall, a good experience!

Difficult to find the nearest stop to our hotel, in fact we could not find stop 2 Marques de Pompal and ended up walking for 20 minutes to the top of the Park at stop 4 or maybe 5. On the Sunday we we caught this bus it was jam packed and people were standing in the aisle which suggests they do not have enough buses.
I have been on hop on/off buses in many cities and this is definitely the most boring as is the commentary which is mainly dreadful music.

A great overview of the city, supposed to be narrated, but many of the audio connections did not work at all. People were hopping seat to seat to find one they could listen to, and several people never heard a word. If you plan to take photos, sit on top level away from the windows. The route was beautiful, and friends needed a rest from walking, so it worked for us.
